Drake gave Lil Baby, BlocBoy JB and Bad Bunny their first top 10 hits as lead artists in 2018. He gave A$AP Rocky, Meek Mill and Rick Ross the biggest hits of their careers. Gave Gucci Mane the first and second Platinum hits of his career. Gave DJ Khaled his first top 10 hit. Gave Travis Scott his first top 10 hit in 2017 and his first #1 hit in 2018. Gave PARTYNEXTDOOR and ILoveMakonnen the biggest hits of their careers. I could go on and on. Among the few people Drake hasn't particularly helped has been French Montana, but in all fairness that is a difficult trick to pull off. The only person that can help Montana is Swae Lee, of all people.

Why do Drake stans think he’s the entire reason songs he feature on get big? Because we know damn well BlocBoy JB wouldn't get a top five hit on his own

I don't think his attempts with PND, Swae Lee and Lil Yachty succeeded remarkably well, although Lil Yachty wouldn't even had touched the Hot 100 without him I'd say so there's that. I feel it's a bit to early to tell if OBA is a flop or not. Like I feel it'll be a hit on the Hip-Hop/R&B charts out of sheer weirdness.

The Swae Lee and Lil Yatchy song were terrible, period. Even if they peaked high, Drake's fans weren't going to keep supporting those songs after that. PARTYNEXTDOOR's songs with Drake don't usually perform well for whatever reason, but they're all multiplatinum certified so I guess it all works out.

PND's songs with Drake are boring and plus it's not like PND is a interesting artist himself and Rihanna is about to give him his biggest hit off his mid-tier album.

Rihanna and Drake are the Queen and King of the modern Hot 100, post-2000. None of their peers are above them. Literally. Rihanna, circa. 2008-2014, was giving several artists either their biggest, highest-selling or highest-charting and most Global hits of their careers and Drake has been doing the same since 2017 with other artists, particularly US-centric Rappers. I love them both and need a fifth collaboration from both of them! thegreatdivineIt seems they’re both back on speaking terms. I’ve loved their recent interactions and they’re both back to following eachother on IG. I miss them as a couple too.

Isn’t Lil’ Wayne second to Drake (in terms of solo acts) for the most Hot 100 entries? 💀 I keep forgetting how huge ‘Wayne was pre-2012. ‘Tha Carter III & VI’ are still his best albums, personally speaking.

I’ll give you “WMN?” but Drake was a consistent hitmaker having big hits pre-“Work.” If his label has gone after it, he’d have #1s in that time. “Hold On We’re Going Home” and “Hotline Bling” were classic hits.

They work as friends and collaborators, but they suck as a couple because it never works out. I hope they don't try to date this time around. He scored several hits before and after meeting Rihanna. Best I Ever Had, Successful, Forever, Over, Miss Me, Find Your Love, Take Care, Headlines, Marvin's Room, Make Me Proud, The Motto, Started from the Bottom, Hold On We're Going Home, All Me, 0-100, Jumpman, Hotline Bling of which most of them peaked in the top 10 and that's all before 2016, not including features. He's always been a hit-maker.

Abel takes over #1 on radio, and rightfully so. The power that Don't Start Now and Blinding Lights have being #1 on radio back to back, music is saved this year so far. Also, Doja getting a Top 10 overall radio hit so fast is truly amazing, kinda shocked it hasn't been pushed to Urban yet.

I wonder how long we can keep up this streak of actually good #1 radio songs, seeing as the next one after BL will probably be Adore You
