Yea I also think these numbers are actually Friday-Wednesday for some reason or are Friday-Thursday but based on estimates.

But why estimate instead of having the full figures? I don't know. I don't think their numbers for Toosie Slide are accurate.

But it is impossible that they had the Spotify numbers that early. Dunno.

Honestly does it really matter if it isn't accurate if Drake debuts at #1 this upcoming chart week . The focus will be on him having #7 Number ones and possibly having more for his album and not oh the streaming numbers weren't accurate that's why they should've wait.

Wouldn't it make more sense if HITS tracking week for their Streaming Songs chart was actually something like Wednesday - Tuesday?
That would more than explain the following:
1) Why new songs are always underestimated by HITS by 15-20%. Last week, Break My Heart was listed as 8.3M or something for the streaming chart, but it actually did about 10.4M. This week, it is more than obvious that Toosie Slide will be doing something like about 50M, but HITS is labeling it at 40M.
2) Why songs that are stable, aka the majority of non-debuting songs, are incredibly accurate for HITS. They're obviously still doing a 7 day tracking week.
3) Why they can update on Thursday as a "final" version when the tracking week for Billboard sales/streaming is not even over.

They don't usually publish it that early though, it's usually around this hour on Friday.
Anyway, Toosie dropped just below 2M on Spotify yesterday.

It's a very weak day on U.S. Spotify. The #200 song is at 197k, that's 11k less than last Thursday's #200. Obviously, people can't lose their chance to hate Drake or don't know how to analyze Spotify numbers.

But The Box and Blueberry Faygo dropped only 40k. Toosie dropped 115k. It's a newer song. Also, interestingly enough, while Toosie Slide keeps dropping on Spotify US, it keeps increasing on Spotify WW. It returned back to #1 on Spotify UK and is 11K away from being #1 on Spotify WW.

^True. That said, the following day's gain will be much less than any of the first week's daily gains as the song's promotional support is no longer in effect.

Every song dropped in streams. Blinding Lights dropped by over 70K streams. Last Week Thursday, it was at 1,454,715 streams. This week Thursday, it's dropped to 1,360,359 streams. That's almost a 100K drop. People's streaming patterns during this outbreak are obviously still affecting audio streaming platforms.

^Oops. I just realized you were talking about Spotify. I do agree it would probably be #1 on Spotify global next week, just because it is a newer song than Blinding Lights. It will definitely be #1 in the US next week without any meaningful new songs that could challenge it.

It's the first time the #200 song on U.S. Spotify is below 200k on Thursday since November 22, 2018.

Toosie Slide has 16,560,687 streams on Spotify US weekly chart.
Edit: Also with 45,292,273 streams on Spotify Global it is #20 on most streamed songs in a single week.

The one song I'm surprised about getting that many streams is Madison Beer's Selfish, when she hasn't promoted it at all or even made it a single the last I heard.

Assuming Toosie Slide did double on Apple Music what it did on Spotify, that's already pretty much 50M US streams, not counting Pandora & YouTube.

I love that Blinding Lights is still growing on radio. When BL reaches #1 on radio this week, it will become the first song to reach #1 in sales, streaming, radio, and on the Hot 100 at some point since 7 Rings. If I remember correctly, the last song to do that before 7R was Despacito, which remains the last song to be #1 on all 4 at the same time.

Sucker reached #1 in all metrics too and it was #1 on radio after 7 rings peaked on sales/radio/streaming.

The TOP song is extremely underwhelming. Not on the same level as other throwback disco songs that have been released recently.

Not sure what's going on with that Delacey/G-Eazy song. #48 on Spotify but nowhere to be found on other platforms, it isn't in any huge playlists, as far as I can tell it isn't blowing up on Tiktok.
