PND's songs with Drake are boring and plus it's not like PND is a interesting artist himself and Rihanna is about to give him his biggest hit off his mid-tier album. I mean pre-2016, it was Rihanna who was carrying Drake on songs like What's My Name? and Work for his biggest hits pre-One Dance. That was because pop was the only thing topping the charts, he still had huge hits like headlines the motto fucking problems started from the bottom and hold on we are going home without her |

Abel takes over #1 on radio, and rightfully so. The power that Don't Start Now and Blinding Lights have being #1 on radio back to back, music is saved this year so far. Also, Doja getting a Top 10 overall radio hit so fast is truly amazing, kinda shocked it hasn't been pushed to Urban yet. I really cringe whenever I read comments or posts like this. I agree that both are great pop songs, but it’s so annoying to constantly hear people on these boards moan and groan when Hip Hop is dominating. Pop is not always going to be the savior of music. In fact, there have been plenty of times when pop was producing piss poor quality for the masses. There’s no need to look down on other genres just because it doesn’t fit your taste. |
