Anyone have any predictions for Tossie Slide's Spotify debut figures? If under 3 mill it’s a mid flop

I'm not sure about Toosie Slide's #1 debut. If I was given money to bet if Toosie Slide gets the #1 debut, I would bet against it because a week from now Blinding Light's radio numbers are going to be crazy Yes, but his streaming numbers will be even lower. According to HDD, they're down 17% this week and they should drop next week as well. All Drake needs to ensure a #1 debut is a solid enough performance on streaming and a decent amount of radio impressions throughout the tracking week.

Anyone have any predictions for Tossie Slide's Spotify debut figures? If under 3 mill it’s a mid flop What are the figures for the #1 song on Spotify right now? Just over 1.4M? But Drake doing anything under 3M would be a mid flop? You do know that streaming is down for every artist, right? Drake included. I'm sure he's completely dominating on Apple Music, but I'm curious to see his first day numbers on Spotify. I'm hoping to be surprised.

I feel like Tootsie Slide will debut #1 then free fall, since there's no radio and I doubt it'll be huge on TikTok forever.

People need to stop trying to go to Spotify for an indication of Drake's numbers in general.
He is much bigger on Apple Music. It's not the same situation as Pop artists, who's Spotify numbers are basically nearly all their streaming numbers. This has been the case for years now.
God's Plan only did 4 million on Spotify globally first day yet...
God's Plan got 26 million on Spotify US first week, yet debuted with 68 million on-demand audio streams according to Billboard. Scorpion did like 275m first week on Spotify US, yet debuted with 746 million on-demand audio streams according to Billboard.
He could do 1 million first day on Spotify US, but be doing 4 million first day on Apple Music US as far as we know. Once we get Apple Music numbers you can start really having an idea of where this song will debut.
Spotify is his secondary service. Just like you wouldn't look at Apple Music foremost to determine how a Gaga/Ed/Billie/etc single will is doing on streaming, you shouldn't go straight to Spotify to determine how a Drake single is doing on streaming.

^ Blinding Lights had an album bomb boost and like iHype said, Drake is MUCH more dominant on Apple Music then the Weeknd so him being a bigger artist is moot.
I don't think Drake has ever even had a single debut with over 2.5m on Spotify

^ Life is Good debuted with almost 2.9 million streams, even though it's technically only a Drake feature.
Honestly if a NAV single could debut with 1.7 million streams during the quarantine I think Drake should do well over 2 million.

But he has Travis and we all know Drake has been replaced by him. /s In all seriousness, my guess is around 2.5m on Spotify and something insane on AM.

Why is no one talking about Find My Way? It's a song I could see being huge especially on Tik Tok.

It’s an inoffensive vibey track with replay value, radio will catch up. This song is going to be around for a while.

You’re probably right it’ll stick around, but TikTok plays have never counted for the Hot 100 and Billbord has removed TikTok UGC, so that wouldn’t help it beyond buoying it’s Spotify, AM, and sales numbers.

Question about the US Apple Music Chart on kworb. kworb.net/charts/apple_s/us.htmlRight now it is showing 20:02 EDT. Does it track the streams from the previous 24 hours ? So the current chart is from 20 EDT 02-Apr to 20 EDT 03-Apr. Just need clarification if anyone knows because it doesn't say anything in the FAQ on the site.

So the current chart is from 20 EDT 02-Apr to 20 EDT 03-Apr. Just need clarification if anyone knows because it doesn't say anything in the FAQ on the site. Apple Music chart is a 24 hour rolling chart, like iTunes, just with no Popbar numbers available. They also have playlists on the app that show the most streamed songs globally (and by country) daily, similar to Spotify's chart, with streams accumulated in that specific day. Toosie Roll was already #1 on Apple Music by 6 am EST (likely was even earlier since Apple Music's chart always takes hours to show newly released songs). That means in under 6 hours it already did more streams than any song in the past 24 hours on Apple Music US.

That’s essentially what I’m saying, TikTok virality would’ve been better wording.

Outside of this forum, the response to the new Drake from what I've seen has been overwhelmingly positive. Expect this to stick around folks. where???? even on r/hiphopheads the general consensus is that it's Mid or Standard Drake People I know posting screenshots to their stories, also Twitter loved the thing (and I follow mostly sports accounts)

It’s video got 5.2 million views in 24 hours. And this ain’t no hotline bling, one dance or god’s plan treatment. He released a music video one shot and one upload only
The song itself is actually so catchy. I don’t know how people are calling this atrocious but everyone has their own opinion. This won’t flop in my opinion but i guess we’ll have to wait and see its billboard run. #1 does seem promising for it as it already of course achieved that with apple music, and the spotify update is just hours away, so if it does debut with numbers it’s a definite position lock

blinding lights is still consistently in the top 3 on all metrics though. unless the song gets either some serious radio adds or it gets like 5M first-day streams i don't know if it can hit #1

5.5M views for the video seems little underwhelming? I mean Gaga got 9.5M in 24hrs.
