Leaving us first tonight at #10 is "Got A Hold On Me." This song describing how the narrator feels about her love interest is pretty good vocally, and I love the funky beat, but it does leave a bit more to be desired in my opinion. The rankdown is already painful for schnetzka who loses his #1 and fearlessarrow who loses his #2! Sorry to you two! Only three people had this in their top half, and we find six people who correctly placed this at #10.

Also I never commented on this before but the wild reflection was so unnecessary in the album artwork lol. The photo alone is good and represents Shania’s upbringing really well, they didn’t need the enhanced wolf reflection.

Up next at #9 is "Forget Me." This song, about a woman wishing her ex-lover would forget about her already like she forgot about him, received no Top 5 support at all. Among the highest ranks are a quartet of #6s, and on the lower end two people pick up perfect rankings while three of us (including me) happily say goodbye to our last place ranks. This song, in my opinion, would've perhaps been much better as a ballad, because on paper the lyrics come off as, well...kinda sad lol.

Bowing out next, beating out "Forget Me" by only 1 point, is "When He Leaves You." This beautiful song is told from the perspective of a wife coming to visit her husband's mistress, so that she can tell her she's going to feel heartbroken when the man leaves her and comes back home for the night. This song does not deserve to be in the bottom 3, but alas, there were too many #9s and #10s to keep this song afloat.

Over 20 points separate this song from the #7 song so the bottom 3 was pretty much decided on by us all!

"Got a Hold On Me" last place  I thought it was pretty unique-sounding song within the album with a nice groove and nice electric guitars.

Skip Ewing is a great writer and this is a very good song!

Sadly, "Still Under the Weather" leaves us at #7. This loss is a bit more painful, as it saw quite a bit of Top 5 support. Ultimately, however, the myriad of Top 5s was not enough support to contend with the pair of #10s that this song came with. I had to swallow some choice words as this one's fate was sealed.

In what universe does this song belong at #10?! The lyrics (which were co-written by country artist Skip Ewing and father-son duo L. E. and Michael White) are beautiful, detailing the narrator's journey of getting over their ex-lover. The production is perfect, and I love Shania's voice on it. I wish this one was able to hit the Top 5 of this rankdown, but luckily it made the album tracks rankdown, so "Still Under the Weather" will get a second chance eventually!

It didn't feel too good to take this particular #1 away, but alas, "There Goes the Neighborhood" leaves us at #6, just missing the Top 5 of this rankdown. This song proved to be quite polarizing, receiving the 2nd highest standard deviation of the rankdown. While .indulgecountry loses his #1 and tim loses his #2 (sorry to y'all!), six other people lose one of their bottom 3 ranks. No last-place ranks however.

I think this song is incredible. My Top 5 was quite stacked for me, and this song's lyrics described things beautifully, and I can't help but feel a slight connection to this song with everything going on in our world today. The production is beautiful 90s realness as well. Definitely a gem in Shania's career imo!

First to leave us in the Top 5 is "You Lay a Whole Lot of Love on Me." I personally have never really liked this song all too much; the vocals were about the only saving grace for me with this one. Once again, about half of us put this in our Top 5 (with two people scoring a perfect ranking) and the lowest ranking was a triple punch of #8 placements.

This was originally a single for Con Hunley, from his 1980 album I Don't Want to Lose You, and it peaked at #19. After being covered by Tom Jones in 1983 and Arne Benoni in 1991, Shania released this song as the third and final single from her debut on September 7, 1993. It failed to chart, however. The music video can be found on her DVD music video collection The Platinum Collection.

To probably nobody's surprise, "God Ain't Gonna Getcha For That" is forced to take home the bronze. I definitely might've underranked this song a bit, but on a pretty great debut album that's only 10 songs in length, something has to go at #9!! Not my current district! But a district across the state, yes

Who knows what everything will look like! I hope the interviews are in person. I'm super good at in-person interviews, and I am much less confident in my ability to charm the bosses through video call... Lol
