Two years ago, Nice For What was released as the 2nd single from Drake's 5th studio album Scorpion. It samples Lauryn Hill's song "Ex-Factor" (1998), "Drag Rap" by the Showboys (1986), "Get Your Roll On" by Big Tymers (2000), and also features clips from performances by Big Freedia.
The star-studded music video features guest appearances from, in order of appearance, Olivia Wilde, Misty Copeland, Issa Rae, Rashida Jones, Jourdan Dunn, Tracee Ellis Ross, Tiffany Haddish, Yara Shahidi, Zoe Saldana, Elizabeth and Victoria Lejonhjärta, Letitia Wright, Bria Vinaite, Emma Roberts, Syd, Michelle Rodriguez and Drake himself.
Nice For What became the 30th song in Billboard history to enter at #1. It also became Drake's 5th US number-one song overall and 3rd as a lead artist. It also topped the charts in Australia, United Kingdom, Canada and New Zealand, while reaching the top 10 in Switzerland, Norway, Ireland, Germany, Belgium, Sweden, Austria, Portugal... It appeared on the Billboard Decade-end chart (2010s), at #87. This Grammy nominated song is currently certified 5x platinum and it has over 1 BILLION streams WW (800 M on Spotify).
This is one of his best songs imo, and I know Pulse loves this song too.

I was never a big fan of this. It sounds like three songs playing at once.

Ya I never liked this. I'm a fan of "In My Feelings" and "God's Plan" though.

Couldn't go to a party in 2018 without this and In My Feelings being blasted, such a good track!

One of Drake's best songs. I wish he would stick to this sound instead of making boring crap like Toosie Slide.

Aside from a few of his songs that I liked, I was never a drake fan. But this was the single the got me interested to give his discography a chance. Easily the best single on Scorpion.

Didnt like it then due to the overplay. Summer of '18 on urban stations this song was played out. It's ok now.

This is up there with One Dance and Hotline Bling as one of Drake’s best songs. This was a nice surprise following the annoying God’s Plan.
