Carti hasn’t had an album to compare these stats with. If you follow hip hop media, you’d find their fanbases are basically the same and that they have the same amount of hype behind them. I do follow Hip Hop media, and if you expect Playboi Carti to also outstream/do similar to Post Malone then you really are setting him up.... When did I say that? I said he’s on the same level as Lil Uzi Vert?

Uzi had one of the biggest streaming hits ever in 2017, and his album this year outstreamed Post Malone's last album first week. They are not NEAR the same level mainstream or in fanbase size... Carti hasn’t had an album to compare these stats with. If you follow hip hop media, you’d find their fanbases are basically the same and that they have the same amount of hype behind them. I'm sorry but Carti has never had a mainstream hit, his highest peak is #29. Even before Eternal Atake, Uzi had two massive hits in 2017 wih XO Tour Llif3 and his feature on Bad and Boujee, also many charting songs overall. Carti's audience does not reach Uzi, Post Malone or especially fucking Drake in popularity. I think Top 10 and or Top 20 is doable, but I don't think he's getting #1, especially with Toosie Slide and Blinding Lights being 100 times a head of him.

Carti single is #70 on iTunes... While it's not an indication of how it does on streaming, it IS an indication of how it reaches the broad audiences.. i.e. not very well.

But let some people tell it, it has a good shot at debuting at #1 "as much as the Drake dickriders on pulse would hate to see it." Lmao. I still have no idea where that came from.

The fact that Drake has been in the game for such a long time and is one of the most successful rappers ever but doesn’t have an album that is even in the same ballpark as Die Lit is crazy to me.

I wonder how they didn’t make magnolia a top 10 hit but xo tour life was I wonder how "XO Tour Life" never managed to be a number one (or at least top five) hit despite its big influence on the current trap scene lol. Honestly idk man, life just be interesting like that sometimes. XO Tour Life peaked during one of the strongest eras on the Hot 100 (Despacito, Shape Of You, That's What I Like, I'm The One...). Its peak in points is higher than many top 3 hits from 2019/2020 like Someone You Loved, If I Can't Have You and Memories.

I don't even like Die Lit but Shoota definitely should've been a bigger hit than it was.

Didn't realize the Joji track was already out yesterday. There go his chances to do well on Hot 100.

It’s crazy how that latter is now considered a classic especially when everyone hated it back in 2016 and what people didn’t know is that views was basically an early build of scorpion in terms of how impactful it would be on the charts

100(-35) twenty one pilots - Level of Concern 18.57(-8.46)
Ouch! The eighth-day effect hit hard for "Level Of Concern". I hope it manages to rebound and stabilize a bit, but I'm not too optimistic. Also, glad to see that the losses have softened for "Circles". It will need as much stability as possible for next week. 🤞🏼 Spotify - 04/15/20 53( re-entry) Joji - Run 373,73056( +3) Madison Beer - Selfish 365,318 ( +11,479) 70( +16) Joji - SLOW DANCING IN THE DARK 324,998 ( +27,959) 72( -1) DripReport - Skechers 320,430 ( -3,400) 83( -8) Dua Lipa - Physical 307,071 ( -5,621) 86( -2) Morgan Wallen - Chasin' You 303,495 ( +3,188) 87( -7) Surf Mesa - ily (i love you baby) 303,074 ( -2,364) It's pretty great to see both "Run" and especially "SLOW DANCING IN THE DARK" getting a boost from Joji's new song. He really deserves more chart success.
