In all seriousness though, so far gone and views as well. Itβs crazy how that latter is now considered a classic especially when everyone hated it back in 2016 and what people didnβt know is that views was basically an early build of scorpion in terms of how impactful it would be on the charts You mean So Far Gone and IYRTITL. Does anyone even care about Views anymore outside of the singles and a couple of other songs? I do, considering that itβs a good album |

Toosie is gaining on radio really fast, obviously still a far cry from BL's numbers, but it should catch up eventually as the track starts to peak. Wasn't expecting it but it seems the song is gonna stick around longer than I thought.

Also, I highly doubt its Friday number will be that much higher. Not many people are streaming music from 12 AM - 6 AM. I'm expecting its Friday number to be around 1.7M at the highest, so its Spotify weekly number will likely be <10M, and total ODS to be ~25M. YouTube isn't too promising either; it only got about 3M views in the first 24 hours globally. I'm guessing it will get ~6M total from the US.
So it's looking to debut with around 20,000 points (22,200 w/ fhas' formula). Top ten is a possibility but definitely not #1. Even on Thursday, its low (for #1 debut standards) YouTube numbers weren't promising in the slightest.
Edit: Technically wrong thread, but it's mentioned here plus it got released on Thursday so whatever

The next #1 on Pop and overall radio is Say So. You never know with radio. Circles spent like a month/month and a half at its peak (135-140). Maybe Say So will peak at 130 and then fall quickly. |

Maybe Say So will peak at 130 and then fall quickly. Yeah, I feel differently about Blinding Lights because the Weeknd is already working In Your Eyes on the same formats. They'll have to let go of one to push the other properly, especially now that the former has peaked. With Circles, that's the only single Posty has been working on radio for months now. If he had a new song out, radio wouldn't be as reluctant to let it go. I see Say So going all the way because there isn't any other single that radio is that interested in pushing right now. Most of the other songs have either peaked or Pop stations have lost interest. That doesn't seem to be the case with Say So. Anyways, who knows what will really happen? I'm just spit-balling here. |
