He needs another Reggaeton colaboration with Bad Bunny (or J Balvin) to get more exposure here. Dura was huge but Bad bunny is so famous here (literally the drake of latam) he overshadowed everyone who is with him. Maybe he could do it alone but in spanish, he’s really capable of that!

I dont want to insult Drake, i really love his music and I found toosie slide a cool song, but i really need him to be more famous here, when I talk to someone about Drake they tell me Who? Im so frustated

speaking of Bad Bunny, Latin America made a great choice when they made him the biggest artist over there cause his much just   decided to be amazing recently.. one of the best pop stars currently working overall and i rlly hope he crosses over more in America. maybe we can trade some of Drake's fame over here for Bad Bunny and vice versa lol

About Maluma, well he didn't have a hit from a long time. but he have a really BIG fanbase, he's a really good looking guy and very active in social media. The entertaiment industry and gossip web sites loves him so he wont be outside the spotlight for a long time. He still need his crossover hit. 

What charts do you look at for South America, besides Spotify? I usually go with the Monitor Latino and National Report ones due to the (rather) limited streaming service usage down there, with YouTube being the big exception ofc.

Well just Spotify, but to be fair, besides YouTube thats the biggest streaming service and is increasing really fast, and i've never met someone who use Apple Music (??). Also, there's a BIG PERCENTAGE of people using ilegal spotify premium accounts.

I guess that's fair tbh, South America (unlike Central America and Cuba unfortunately) have a majority of their population connected to the internet daily, so Spotify stats are a rather accurate measurement of popularity in those countries. Anyway, I noticed the profile pic, are you Chilean?

I only just found this song thanks to TikTok but apparently EDEN has amassed a cult following because he has several songs with 80+ million streams on Spotify. In Denver. People have been stopped and asked to prove they work for essential businesses, etc. I had to get a document from my lawyer so I can drive back/forth to the airport in case I get stopped because I have to fly help my ill mother. It's a $999 fine/misdemeanor. They stopped more than 6000 people the previous week because they were out. And it's a blue mayor in a blue state. Go figure.

For future H100s, I'm curious when the music pipeline starts to dry up. I wonder if labels will start going deeper in albums or even revisiting projects that could've had more singles. There's only so much recording that can be done under the lockdowns and it doesn't look like it's going be lifted for several weeks.

Idk if labels are doing that, I think now that touring bundles are useless albums are gonna be less prevalent, at least from major artists
