I didn't leave a commentary on my ratings but I will just say that I was pretty lenient on my ratings IMO. They were nice songs and I didn't mind them.

ROUND FIFTEEN - RESULTS
Welcome to the fifteenth elimination ceremony! This is an incredible round. The race to the final three is tight, and when I said tight, I mean it. The winner and the eliminee are only separated by mere .9 points. Take away any judges' scores and we'll easily end up with a different call-out order. This is a true evidence that every one of you really deserves to have your spot here.
With House Lannister and Leaf as this round's guest judges, the first person to enter the final round is...{Spoiler}{Spoiler} MATT!Big Star - "Thirteen"And here you are collecting another win to your portfolio, breaking @trilogy's record for the most win in one season with your sixth win. Congratulations you made the final round!Sambalada: "This is the kind of song that's appropriate for almost every situation. It's just that gorgeous. The guitar play is so soft and soothing. The vocalist also has a great talent for delivering lyrics with the right amount of emotion without losing control of his voice. "Thirteen" is simply a gorgeous track." (9.0)Walt: "This is one of my dad’s favorite songs so it’s nice to see it here. It’s a really short song but I don’t mind - the lyrics about being young and in love are really poignant and beautiful in their simplicity." (9.0)Gates: "This song gives you a picture of a man working out his feelings about the time of his youth where he found his first love, and his own voice independent of the adults in his life. There's an arc where he reflects on the good and bad, and it's rich with details, like the Rolling Stones name-check. The guitar playing, appropriately, is intimate, simple and grounded, but also feels very practiced. Chilton's vocals are always a joy to hear, and the harmonies in the last segment are a nice touch too." (9.4)Mayman: "This was nice. I like the simplicity of the song. Nothing too amazing but it's not bad whatsoever." (7.5)Hamed: "This is another pleasant song but it personally doesn't hit as hard as any of the other songs. It's a really cute and nicely written track but it didn't hit me in the gut like the other 3 songs did, I still enjoy it though." (8.0)Slippery: (7.5)Brianc: "I’ve heard of this band, but I don’t know any of their songs. The lead singer comes through with some solid vocals. I like the minimalism in the guitars. The lyrics are nicely done." (8.4)Leaf: "This was a solid listen. Not quite my favourite of theirs, but it's a good one nonetheless." (7.9)TOTAL: 66.7 | AVERAGE: 8.34Next to advance and the last person to escape the bottom two is...{Spoiler}{Spoiler} BORN!Alex G - "Gretel"You've grown from someone who's mostly in the background at the beginning into a force to be reckoned with at the last few rounds. With how consistently you've been improving throughout the season, I can say that your spot in the final three is very deserving. Congratulations!Sambalada: "The big room-esque instrumental is very appealing, especially on the start of the song to get the audience to pay attention to the song. It's an interesting experience. The sung melody took a small part of the song still it catches your attention. As a song that is instrumental-heavy, that aspect of the song is very well-arranged and makes an incredible atmosphere." (7.9)Walt: "I remember this song from WTM and I liked it on first listen iirc. It’s even better upon returning to it! I love the layering of the guitars in the instrumental, it’s such a spacey sounding song, I was vibing throughout my listen haha. Nice stuff!" (8.8)Gates: "I love a song where the music and lyrics complement each other so well in ways you might not think about at first. The lyrics feel like a POV from the tragic characters of a twisted fable about bystanders, self-interest, and urges to return to temporary innocence and comfort that are unsustainable. The music supports this with chord progressions that feel peaceful at one moment, then seem to turn on a dime and turn slightly sour; as well as layers of haziness and distortion." (9.1)Mayman: "The production on this is phenomenal. It just sounds so good to listen to. I think I've heard it before in a tournament, not sure which one though." (8.9)Hamed: "Wow isn't this a grim alternative version of this classic tale, I love it lol. I really like this melodically, it's really pleasant and got me intrigued. The song itself can be a metaphor for selfishness and extend outside the fairy tale narrative it is centered around." (9.0)Slippery: (8.0)Brianc: "Not a fan of the distortion at the beginning of this song. I thought the vocals were decently done. But they were kinda drowned out. The solid instrumentation overpowers this. Not sure this fully qualifies as a folk song?" (6.0)Leaf: "This was just alright to me at first, but after another listen, the melody totally drew me in. Liking the vibe this has going on, as well as the storytelling." (8.8)TOTAL: 66.5 | AVERAGE: 8.31Which means the bottom two are...{Spoiler}{Spoiler}
FEARLESS & VIOLET
Fearless, it's crazy to think that you've gone this far without ever landing in the bottom two. However, with a round this tight in competition, one minor slip can send you home. So will you be able to survive? Violet, you've been excelling throughout the season with your unconventional choices but you've also been at the bottom two multiple times from them. Will you survive this one too?
One of you will be eliminated.

If I were to rank these 4 songs, "Thirteen" would've been first, followed by "Should Have Known Better" so that's another round with the correct winner! Also, thank you everyone :)

The last person to advance to the next round is...{Spoiler}{Spoiler} FEARLESS!Sufjan Stevens - "Should Have Known Better"Sambalada: "Sufjan is such a talented lyricist and while this song doesn't have some of his most-heartfelt one-liners in his discography, they still show just how blessed his pen is. "Don't back down, nothing can be changed" is not the most beautiful lyrics he's written but God is it impactful in this song. It also helps that the instrumental backs off the lyrical content to make this a beautiful listen. It makes me feel hopeful and happy, but also a little sad. The second half of this song never fail to put a smile on my face." (8.3)Walt: "This song is another crushing song lyrically, dealing with the mixed emotions Sufjan felt regarding the death of his mother, trying to make sense of his memories and also move on. The instrumental is really atmospheric and pleasant sounding too, it’s easy to get lost in this song." (8.5)Gates: "Yea, my conflicted feelings on Sufjan continue, and this isn't one of his 2010s tracks I like better either. Obviously, these are good lyrics. Regretting what you didn't share with lost loved ones, not knowing how to process grief, and fearing what happens when you can't be the rock that others depend on you for--all highly relatable stuff. But I don't get much out of the music. The tune and the instrumentation feel unmotivated, like they're just here because they have to be (also the "be my rest, be my fantasy" part sounds so much like the first chorus of "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes" that it's distracting)." (6.0)Mayman: "I really like the vibe of this song. The whispery soft vocals makes this just a nice listen." (8.4)Hamed: "This game really has brought to my attention that I truly should give Sufjan's discography a listen cause this is really good. This hits home given my regrets on things I didn't do in the past and how I reacted in response to losing my grandmother. It's something that still stays with me to this day and this song just hits in the gut cause of it. Sad boi hours here we go lol, f**k this song is long it hurts me the longer it keeps going." (10)Slippery: (7.5)Brianc: "Decent vocals from Stevens. Solid guitar work here. I feel like they might have been better off letting the vocals shine more, particularly in the chorus. The lyrics are a bit quirky, but effective." (7.5)Leaf: "I was pretty obsessed with Carrie & Lowell for a while, and this was and still is one of my favourites from it. Manages to get me in my feelings a bit, which honestly doesn't happen that often." (9.8)TOTAL: 66.0 | AVERAGE: 8.25
By the skin of your teeth girl! You're just .2 points shy from being eliminated from the game but anyway, you're still surviving. Congratulations you are now a member of the final three!Which means...
{Spoiler}{Spoiler} VIOLET, I'm sorry but you've been eliminated.
Mount Eerie - "Real Death"
Sambalada: "It's my first listen of this song, so this score is simply based on first impression. The guy doesn't have the best vocals in the world but actually, for this song, it helps. This is the kind of song that is supposed to feel raw and vulnerable and the fact that the vocalist sounds just like a regular guy with genuine emotions make it does exactly that. The raw tone of the singer makes this emotional in a way and that's the outstanding point of this song." (8.6) Walt: "Jesus f**k this song is heartbreaking. I lost a family member recently, as some of you probably know, so this is hitting extra hard for me right now. The vocals are far from perfect, admittedly, and the instrumentation doesn’t have much going on, but the rawness and simplicity makes the song hit even harder than if the vocals were polished. Honestly not something I’m going to listen to much, I can’t take this much sadness that often, but a moving song nonetheless." (8.7) Gates: "This is the kind of song that stops you in your tracks. Elverum is fully aware of the expectations that comes with an established artist writing about personal tragedy, and he confronts/subverts them in a stark, matter-of-fact way--even the sparse production and his trembling, defeated tone of voice emphasize this. The constant stream of details in the second half illustrate how a person's body expiring is only the first step to them being 'gone'; in our society, a lot of systems are automatic and don't immediately feel the impact, so these reminders make it hard to even accept that someone has passed away. He leaves the listener no question that, in his ideal world, he wouldn't be talking to anyone until he had processed his loss, and the fear of nothing being beyond this mortal plane causes one to hold onto any emotion to feel alive, even ones that hurt like anger." (9.7) Mayman: "I'm trying to give points for the good things about this because obviously it's something I wouldn't like. The lyrics are a little cheesy but something I can get past. The instrumental is nice and simple." (7.1) Hamed: "Holy f**k this is a sad song, something about it just feels haunting and god it's so raw. God my heart feels sunken and in knots, damn this is gonna be the sad round is it. It hits home if you lost someone you love and I'm just thinking of my late grandmother who passed away a few years ago but it still feels like it happened not so long ago. If a song can manage that much pain in men then I sure as hell have to rate it high." (9.5) Slippery: (7.0) Brianc: "The vocalist for this group cuts through the silence well enough. The guitar is in the background, but it works well enough. Not a huge fan of the rhymes matching. The lyrics took a bit of getting used to, but it clicked the second time." (7.9) Leaf: "I've always been a bit conflicted on how to feel about A Crow Looked at Me, this track included. I mean, I appreciate how emotionally heavy the lyrics are throughout, but I wish it got to me more." (7.3) TOTAL: 65.8 | AVERAGE: 8.23
Ugh, this is such a strong round and honestly, luck is just not on your side today. However, your existence as a contestant has brought a unique colour for this season and you should be proud of that. Thank you for participating :'(

OMG I was totally thinking I would get eliminated here since I knew Gates wasn't the biggest fan of "Should Have Known Better" - so I was basically banking on the other judges to save me which isn't a really smart move and pretty risky strategy this late into the game; "should have known better" than to send this song in, I suppose. That being said, if I was going to go out I thought I'd do it with a song that is really close to my heart - it's been a song I go to a lot these days because social distancing + depression + some people's stupidity (masks, racists etc. etc.) ain't pretty; it's a really comforting song for me. Thanks for carrying me into the top 3 :) Also @mirza I feel like we've been vibing so much this game

But y'all did a nice job of choosing and submitting.

FINAL ROUND - RESULTS
Welcome to the sixteenth and last elimination ceremony! This has been an incredible journey and tonight, two of you will be declared as finalists and have 50% chance of winning this competition. All three of you has done an excellent job surviving up until the final round, and I want to thank and congratulate you for that achievement. Sadly, one of you has to go and miss the grand finale.
Our guest judges for the final round are every person you beat at the casting round (in exception of fireflies and Preds who declined, and Au$tin who did not respond), welcome MoD lyhom Mylo13 💜 Jug Leo ✔ and Willow Rinadoobee Breakfast! Without further ado, the first finalist is...{Spoiler}{Spoiler} FEARLESS!Lorde - "Ribs"Sambalada: "My favorite of the three honestly. Pure Heroine is the best debut era that I have experienced. The album was rich of sounds and values. "Ribs" was one of the best to capture that quality. It shows off Lorde's writing style and what differentiate her from other upcoming artists at the time. The dark but punch-y production shines a light to her mature delivery. It remains one of the strongest tracks from Lorde." (9.6)Walt: "Love love love this song and Lorde, it’s become a bit of a modern anthem for people my age and I totally get why. First of all, the production here is so chill and space-y especially with the almost heavenly vocal sample in the background. The lyrics about the fear of growing up also really connect with me haha." (9.4)Gates: "I have two main problems with most Lorde's music. First is, she puts up a pretense of being alternative to pop, but usually the differences she applies are pretty superficial, and in a compositional sense you're getting the same experience. Two, her writing makes a big deal of being against the mainstream with its subject matter, but it lacks in establishing what it's for other than herself, and when it does, it's no more compelling than its competition in terms of drama/romance/introspection/commentary. Well, on the musical side, this definitely breaks her normal mold. I really enjoy the way this song combines tech/ambient house production with an old-school minimal progressive electronic structure. It's a very layered, enveloping sound but there's also a tension in the chords, the build-up, and the lower pitch of her voice. And I also connect more with the lyrics; they're more vivid and present a more coherent emotional through-line." (7.8)Mayman: "So dreamy, I love it. This is my second favorite song from her behind Green Light. It's just such a vibe and the production is phenomenal. The way she sounds here is perfect for the instrumental. Love this song." (9.5)Hamed: "Let's talk about that ambient intro,sooo chillingly good. Lyrically I love and relate to the song, the fear of getting old, it scares me as I get older with each passing year and have to grow up and be more responsible. I think about it everyday to be honest and it frightens me that eventually I'll be too old to do certain things. Joel Little kills it production wise here and Lorde delivers melodically." (10)Violet: "Back in march i listened to melodrama and enjoyed it a fair bit more than i was anticipating that i would and have been meaning to check out pure heroine as well. I enjoyed buzzcut season quite a bit and royals and team are some of the few songs overexposure on the radio has been unable to kill entirely for me. So where does this sit? Actually better than all of those. idk what to write exactly about it but it kinda reminds me of "everything i wanted" in a couple ways. Regardless this song sounds really pretty and was really enjoyable. Uhhhh yeah i have no clue what to say about this." (8.6)MoD: "I remember reviewing this last season and giving it like a 7 or something. Now this is the perfect example of songs growing on me lol. I think the production is amazing, and Lorde's voice is pure quality. The melody is also really nice, being catchy but still beautiful, it honestly creates a whole mood. Great song." (8.9)Mylo: "Funnily enough, I ranked this back when I first judged Last Stand! I still like it, it's a creative and cool sound that I understand why it's so liked. I do think I need to be in the mood to hear it, but when I am it definitely connects. Smart choice here, I think it's a universally appealing song!" (7.5)Lyhom: "out of the three artists in this set, lorde's the one I'm least familiar with, mostly because I've never really liked a song from her the way I've liked songs from the other two artists. this song adds another reason why I should probably change that, though, as I liked it a lot. lorde sells the fear of growing older really well, and the ethereal production is really good too." (8.7)Crap: "Ribs: I'll admit, this isn't really my favorite Lorde song. However, I still think it's really good. The production is pretty damn good, and I can see how it makes it one of her most acclaimed songs. I do dig the echo effects in the last half of the song. However, again, it doesn't stand out to me as much as something like Tennis Court or Perfect Places. Yeah really, it's just a standard Lorde track. Nothing much to complain about." (7.6)Leo: (9.8)Jug: (8.5)TOTAL: 105.9 | AVERAGE: 8.83Which means the bottom two are...{Spoiler}{Spoiler}

And the second finalist is...{Spoiler}{Spoiler} MATT!Bloc Party - "This Modern Love"Sambalada: "It's a very solid choice. The song's structure is well-written, and the lyrics are also nice as well. Music is pretty good too but the melody kind of reminds me of a Five for Fighting song at some parts, but that doesn't really take away from its overall quality because I love how catchy the song is." (8.2)Walt: "This is a discovery for me. I love the production here, that guitar line is so hypnotic and really sets the tone of the song. It’s a really clean sounding song without sounding overly polished which is nice. I really like the lyrics about admitting you’ve been absent in a relationship too." (8.9)Gates: "The production on Silent Alarm in general is some of the best you'll ever hear on a debut album. It's so clean and distinct, you feel like you're right there in the room during the band's recording sessions. The centerpiece of the band was the drummer Matt Tong, and here he's truly allowed to shape the song from the ground up and make it into a spellbinding, near-cinematic experience. And the lyrics portray the speaker in an empathetic way without sinking into hopelessness, as the person fights their own demons and neurological issues to be a loving and equal partner." (10)Mayman: "The instrumental is pretty cool. I think it's a pretty good song overall." (8.7)Hamed: "This is a discovery for me, I really like the structuring of the song and the lack of a chorus. Lyrically I like that it's about the fear of expressing yourself in a relationship and honestly that hits home for me lol. Aside from that it's a really pleasant nice discovery, but it's my least favorite of the 3 here, which honestly may be more in part due to me being familiar with the other 2 songs." (8.8)Violet: "Bloc party is one of those bands that i can't really get into. I know there are some ppl on pulse who are gonna kill me for saying that but whatever. This was decent i guess though. I don't really have much to say about it though. The way the song progresses is kinda cool though i guess." (7.1)MoD: "As you may remember, "Banquet" by them is the song I sent as one of my favorite songs of all time (and I somehow ended up not even qualifying smh), so my love for this Bloc Party era is no mystery. And I think this song is the perfect example of what I love about this album. Outstanding drum work, soft but always interesting guitars and just an ethereal production. And on top of that, we have Kele's great performance and songwriting. All this song really sounds like nostalgia, and when a song can exactly replicate a feeling, you know it's good, or, in this scenario, perfect." (10)Mylo: "This is really cute! I didn't expect this from the title but this sounds like the soundtrack to an innocent love story. I love the little acoustic flourishes and the vocals are captivating. It's very atmospheric, it evokes a sense of calm and contentment that I'm a huge fan of. A great discovery, clever pick!" (8.5)Lyhom: "I probably need to listen to silent alarm one of these days. I'm only really familiar with "banquet" and "helicopter", but I love both of those songs and have liked everything else I've heard from the album, and this is no exception. the build on this song is great, and I really like the guitar/synth combo after the final chorus." (8.8)Crap: "This Modern Love: I have yet to join the Bloc Party bandwagon. So far, the band doesn't really stand out to me. But onto this song, it works for me. I do dig the guitars on it." And you made it! Come join Fearless in the grand finale!Which means...
{Spoiler}{Spoiler} BORN, I'm sorry but you've been eliminated.
Kendrick Lamar - "DNA."
Sambalada: "Not an unpopular opinion but I still want to say this, DAMN was such a big departure from Kendrick's previous two major albums. I mean it's still good but it has multiple fillers and the album as a whole wasn't well-arranged. Luckily, "DNA." was one of the best ones. Kendrick is spitting bars after bars, it's such a still solid performance. The production is a stepdown but it still knocks." (7.6) Walt: "This song is three minutes of Kendrick spitting, his flow is so strong here. The production from Mike Will Made It is really powerful too with the heavy bass, and of course what Kendrick is saying about life as a black man in America is so powerful as well, especially how the sample from Fox News is employed. I do have to say it’s a bit of an obvious pick, but a great song nonetheless." (8.9) Gates: "Kendrick has a habit of taking trends and opening up their potential to create songs that live beyond those trends. Mike Will is no slouch on his own, but here he's challenged to produce something as grimy, dark, and as punishing with its bass as Lamar is with his flow. And the bars make sure to have hooks and tight rhymes to carry the listener along as he examines reductionists, nature vs. nurture--how artists are scapegoated as influencing youth culture when they are merely holding a mirror up to their circumstances. I do think, even with the beat switch, the song feels too short, which holds it back from being among Kenny's absolute best." (8.3) Mayman: "One of my favorites from Kendrick. It's so catchy and his flow is so good. The transition and second part of the song is so good too. Just a great song and one of my favorites from 2017." (9.8) Hamed: "God I still love his flow on this, so f**king good and it stays like that throughout the song. Mike Will Made It delivered a great production and the second half of the song is just killer." (9.0) Violet: "One of my most listened to songs during my "chroniclea" days lmao. Honestly ages relatively well considering some of the shit i liked back then (cough I Like Me Better cough). In fact, if i recall correctly, this song almost won my first personal rd and would've had a certain slope not slipped. anyways, good song. Good beat, one of kendrick's best performances and the beat switch is fucking savage damn. I don't really listen to this song much anymore though and a lot of its impact kinda wore down on me after a bit though." (8.4) MoD: "There is no denying of the quality of this song. Kendrick is really an amazing rapper and lyricist, and this song is a great example of why people love him. Still, I feel like this song is quite overrated when it comes to him. I think the production could be more extravagant, more "kendrick-esque" to put it in a way, because although I feel like this is an outstanding song for any rapper, I think Kendrick's creativity is bigger than what is portrayed by this song's production. Anyways, it's still a great song." (8.4) Mylo: "Oh dear. You poor person, you chose DNA. just as I judge? That's some awful luck lol. Now, I did relisten to this and tried to be a bit more objective before ranking. And truly, I don't hate this song. I don't believe it's one of the worst of all-time or anything anymore lol. The first 'section' is alright enough, I guess? I have no use for the second part of this song. It's a completely different energy than me haha, I feel like I'm being actively yelled at. I do respect the lyrics to this but alas, I can't say I would ever consider playing this voluntarily. Sorry bud, not a fan." (1.5) Lyhom: "lol remember when I made the "YOUSA YOUSA BITCH" post in the 2018 rankdown? good times. but yeah, kendrick goes hard here, as does this song in general. apparently kendrick recorded the last verse acapella, and mike will made-it made that beat around his flow, and it definitely helps define the aggression of the song." (9.3) Crap: "DNA: This felt like a cheater move. But whatever, this still kicks ass. While I don't remember much from DAMN, this single still stands out to me, and is one of Kendrick's best. Why it lives up to that description is Kendrick's energy and flow in this. However, nothing tops the climax to the song, which is where Kenny lets it ALL OUT, and dear god, the lift-off countdown is absolutely one of his best moments in production. Yeah, this is just great." (8.8) Leo: (8.8) Jug: (7.7) TOTAL: 96.5 | AVERAGE: 8.04
