It doesn't matter how bad/mediocre that Uzi album or any mainstream rapper could be people are still gonna buy it because at the end of the day it's money over artistry. Thats what makes me sad. It seems its all about the money instead of music. At least good music helps tour fanbase to grow too. For instance, it feels Lil Baby has made the same song 500 times. |

Uzi is serving quality though. It would just be better if y'all said "I don't like rap music" instead. No. Lil Uzi's last albums both got mediocre feedback from fans as far as I know including me. His 2018 album was so much better |

I like the original Eternal Atake but I'm still mad that the 2/5 level deluxe came and destroyed the era - people don't find the original album on streaming services that easily any more.

Uzis new music is just bad, like I get drake and Travis kinda release basic singles but atleast they are listenable and catchy. Uzis 2015-2017 songs atleast had decent hooks and was listenable to most people that’s why they had decent longevity.

If You’re Too Shy was #2 in the UK on Spotify yesterday and only less than 20k streams behind Blinding Lights. I hope it can end up being just as big in America

I will quote this from fhas Happier had massive UGC streams from that Fortnite concert.
It had 51.8 million overall streams (official number announced by Billboard) and only 13.5 million were from on-demand audio streams. So, it had 32-36 million YouTube streams. In 2020 (new UGC rules), its total streams would've been ~20 million.

With Spotify deleting artificial accounts, I think it will hit older acts more, since they are most likely to have followers and accs that are no longer in use.
