#123. Ronnie Dunn - "Let The Cowboy Rock" Horrible song. I was baffled they picked this as a single and even more baffled Ronnie would write and record such a weak, uncreative and bland song. It was an instant station-changer when it was at radio (and yes, my station played it). Agreed. Aside from this being a horrible song, this ended up down in my bottom two more so because Ronnie is so much better than this and I found it to be quite disappointing they even released this atrocity.

I had a feeling "Corn Star" would be last just from the title alone. I'm glad Brooks beat Dunn here.
I'd never heard "Kick It in the Sticks," but I honestly wondered wth I was hearing when I listened to that one. It sounded like a country star imitating the sound of Creed / Nickelback. And then when I got to the line "down with the critters," I ended up laughing uncontrollably for several minutes.

âCorn Starâ & âKick It In The Sticksâ are atrocious, I donât understand why they exist. âLet The Cowboy Rockâ is elevated by Ronnieâs vocal but itâs pretty much trash too. âJust Wanna Rock N Rollâ is more forgettable to me that horrible but itâs the kind of forgettable that I already had to look back at what was the other song eliminated haha

Don't worry LBTrocks; you'll love where I have Brantley's other song ranked at (it's actually the only one of his I like). ;)

âCorn Starâ is bad but so is everything I put below it so đ€·ââïž
I guess you do have to be a Brantley fan to âgetâ âKick It In The Sticksâ because Iâm definitely not listening to the same song yâall are. It was the first Brantley song I heard and was like, dang, who is this guy? I need more! I still actively listen to this. Love everything about it and donât have any shame in doing so either.
âLet The Cowboy Rockâ is horrid. Now THAT song is everything wrong in rock-influenced country. Ronnie Dunn fails to impress me 90% of the time

It was the first Brantley song I heard and was like, dang, who is this guy? I need more! Actually, same. Which is funny, because then the only song I have liked from him since is "Bottoms Up."

âHot Messâ pretty much sums up country music for 2012.

#121. Tim McGraw - "Truck Yeah"
Total Points: 2,212 Average: 100.5 Year Released: July, 2012 Mediabase Peak: #10 Billboard Peak: #10 Rankings:gardyfan - 14 ClevelandRox - 30 austin - 42 toomuchboy - 57 fireflies - 65 LBTrocks - 86 bigfan101 - 111 Cody Wants Out... - 114 someguy - 114 castleoblivion26 - 115 .indulgecountry - 117 fearlessarrow - 118 bboat11 - 119 dgarcia3377 - 119 KanenrĂĄ:ke - 119 tim - 122 sabre14 - 123 ladyđfan - 124 zaclord đ - 125 kw9461 - 126 recordyear - 126 raylatch98 - 126 Following: taylor "Truck Yeah" was released as the lead single off Tim McGraw's Two Lanes of Freedom album in July of 2012. It was also his first for Big Machine Label Group, after leaving his longtime label, Curb Records. "Truck Yeah" peaked at #10 in October. The song was written by LoCash, Chris Janson and Danny Myrick. At the time, "Truck Yeah" was the highest radio debut ever for Tim (#22 on Billboard and #25 on Mediabase), garnering a massive hourly Clear Channel debut (now iHeartMedia).
Meanwhile, Curb Records sent out "Right Back Atcha Babe" the same time to radio, but it barely charted (#59).
I guess I can see the melody being mildly enjoyable but the lyrics and hook are abysmal and Tim sounds awful on this song, losing his usual charm. Thankfully, he released some gems on Big Machine but they're responsible for the worst two singles of his career, imo ("Truck Yeah", "Lookin' for that Girl").

"Truck Yeah" a shameless pandering dog pile of garbage. Just such an awful song from an artist who knows better. Not his worst song ("Looking For That Girl" gets that honor) but still for "Truck Yeah" it's a f*ck no.

"Truck Yeah" has been like, the runaway last place contender in every rankdown it has ever been in. The fact that it was able to escape bottom 5 here says a lot about this year's worst songs đ

Tyler Farr sucked even back in 2012.
"Truck Yeah" is pretty awful. The second Tim starts signing that first verse, ugh. This song's melody is terrible. Also the pun or whatever you want to call it 'truck yeah' in place of fuck yeah is horrendous. Also, I hate the repeated YEAH's in the background. SO obnoxious. This avoided my 100s only because A) this year is so awful and B) I don't have a problem with this style of country overall but this is just a disaster on multiple levels.

For the longest time I didn't even know this was a song and assumed "Carolina" was Parmalee's debut single.

I knew everyone here would hate âMusta Had A Good Timeâ and I can admit that this is pretty much just a straight up rock song, but damn what a JAM! Really fun to sing to and rock out to. The âI donât know what the hell went on round here last nightâ line is just SO damn catchy!
âHeâs Mineâ is OK at best, but I donât listen to it and never have so Iâm totally fine with it leaving. Itâs just for me, there are way way WAY worse songs from this year.

I don't hate Rodney Atkins like so many here as this song has a somewhat decent melody, but this is a diet version of "Cleaning This Gun" to a t.
