Okay, don't judge me for my rank... What would you suggest as an alternative? ![](https://media0.giphy.com/media/Wsjx0A0DU8yYp3Bycg/giphy.gif)

Okay, don't judge me for my rank... I am SO mad that this f**king guy decided to start recording good music after proving to the world that he was irredeemable trash. Like, I'm pretty sure Jesus also didn't go out and thrust his tongue down barely-legal throats in the middle of a pandemic while his abandoned girlfriend sat at home taking care of their newborn baby all by herself, but when has that stopped you from being an asshole? At the end of the day though, this song blew me away. I would have LOVED it if it had ended up in the hands of someone like Tim McGraw or Chris Young, but it might honestly be my favorite thing I have ever heard from Morgan Wallen, tbh... Despite hating Morgan's voice overall, lol. I basically agree with all of this, except replace "Don't Think Jesus" with like "7 Summers" lol. He's recording some great country music... still can't stand him or his voice.

I love Maggie Rose's voice but unfortunately after her first album I haven't really cared for much of what she's done... which is sad, because I feel like her first album wasn't truly her and everything she's released after is lol.

Ugh, this Maggie Rose song was SO good! I wish it had gone further here, but at least it came close to the mid-way point, so could've been worse. She's definitely never been as good as she was during the Cut to Impress era, but I think this is easily her best single since those days. She has an absolutely fabulous voice and the melody of this one is so irresistibly catchy. Has a very old school Carole King-esque vibe to me.

"Two Arms To Hold Onto" surprised me when I first heard it, because I feel like I can't even remember the last time I heard any sort of Neo-trad uptempo song from her! I feel like I have only ever really heard big dramatic ballads from her. She has a wonderful voice, and I was pleasantly surprised by the arrangement...but that being said I almost completely forget the entire song the moment it ends! So it ended up slipping lower on my list than I originally thought it would. Sorry to her fans :(

Fucking hell I just realized Hayden Joseph sounds like if Hunter Hayes and David Nail had a baby together and then put him up for sale at a dollar store.

This was cute but I personally liked Chloe Fredericks' song way more.

Savannah Keyes released a new song in the past month through American Song Contest, and .indulgecountry requested either this one or the new one from HALIE (the one who wrote "Girls Like Me" and won Martina's Songland episode!), but unfortunately for HALIE her new song just wasn't as good as I was hoping for... So I chose Savannah! Savannah Keyes has a strong history in this rd, as she managed to sneak into the top 5 of our Christmas rankdown a few months ago! At the time I had never even heard of her and just included her because I had randomly stumbled across her song and liked it. So hearing "Sad Girl" this was my first 'regular' song from her, and I was very pleased with the result! By the time she got into the powerful bridge, I was hooked! I would have liked to see this in the top 15, but then I could also see where people who are less drawn towards female vocals might find this to be boring or vanilla.

Ashley Cooke has a pretty nice voice, although I think this song is kinda forgettable, and tbh Brett Young really doesn't add anything to it.

I guess I kinda get where "Never Til Now" might be boring/forgettable to some but it's such a gorgeous song, the melody is incredible and the instrumentation and production is so unique to me. This would have likely made my top 5 if we were ranking the version without Brett Young tbh

I’ve quickly become a fan of Ms. Collins! This would’ve easily made my top-10 had the month not been so stacked.

Karley Scott Collins had an impressive debut in this series a couple months ago, when she took "Heavenly" all the way to #2 and somehow managed to lose to Ronnie Dunn by 3 points! "Tattoos" seemed to be a bit less well-received for some reason. Actually probably for a variety of reasons, including the overall strength of this list! I feel like I am not quite as wowed by Karley as many people seem to be so far though, so to me this placement feels about right. I'm excited to hear more from her though!

"Phones Don't Work" was a request from kw9461, who appropriately ended up ranking at #1. Wade Bowen has a pretty sizable following in the secondary markets from what I can tell, and definitely has some fans around these parts in the more Red Dirt crowd. That being said, I found this one to be a bit more sterile than I expected. I still liked it well enough, but I prefer Wade Bowen's more traditional output like "Rodeo Clown" from a couple years ago ![](http://ruadventures.com/forum/Smileys/animated/popcorn.gif)
