"Wilder Days" was OK I guess, but nothing I'd revisit. And other than that, I still hate all the songs revealed thus far

Temecula Road was on my radar because Sara Evans kinda took them under her wing the last few years. I know they toured with her a couple years ago. And then a couple months ago when Sara did her 3-nights of live-stream concerts she hired the brunette girl in the group (Emma) to be her background singer, and the rest of the group got to come out and sing a couple songs in the middle of one of Sara's sets. So when they put out a new song this month, it was only natural that a Sara fan like bigfan101 would be the one to demand their inclusion! But anyway, "Everything I Love" is a very catchy song! Although tbh I kinda started to find it annoying if I listened to it too much this past month when I wasn't in the right mood, so I feel like it's leaving in a good place. I'm excited to see what else they have to offer in their careers though! Not a bad ranking for this, so Iâm okay with it! And for reference, Saraâs son - Avery - dates one of the girls and plays guitar in their backing band. Also interesting, he goes by Avery Barker, even though Jay is his stepdad.

25. I guess it's better than I Should Probably Go To Bed, but the vocal shift after chorus is horrendous. 24. I thought this would just escape bottom 5 because of the artist, but I'm glad I'm wrong. The Adult Comtemporary music at the beginnig is pretty decent...until the last minute where it tries to escalate and becomes a bit unpleasant. Not to mention this song is at least one minute too long. 23. His delivery is so cringy, I can't. 22. It's a pretty lazy song in terms of lyrics and melody. I don't know whether I say this before but I can never understand where the similarity between Eric Church and Kip Moore is. 21. I thought this song has no hype whatsoever and so would make this the last place. I find the production too busy, it wants to pander to some elecronic sounds but the real guitars are too prevalant. It sounds like a mess and tbh underwhelmed by Brad's output after Love and War except Bucked Off. 20. I like Tiera's voice and BRELAND is not too bad here, but the country pop music is so meh. 19. Again, like Sykamore's vocals but the music is still just kinda there. The lyric video's aesthetic though. 18. I am still surprised how young his vocals sound. I think the melody will creep on you. 17. Same for this song (regarding the melody). Don't really resemble country music but it's a good rock song. This actually has hit potential, but of course country Pulse would prefer generic country pop instead. 16. The hook can be annoying but I guess I'm a sucker for minor keys.

Lol Yeah I actually frequently wonder what happened to her ex. Like, waaaay more than I should, lmao. It's very obvious that he and Sara are not on good terms, but I have always wondered about the kids' perspective. Like, do they even see him? I always got the impression that Sara has full custody. And the children sure didn't seem to hesitate to switch their names over to Barker when they were given the option to, at least from our perspective...

Sorry for the delay! Work, friendship time in the sunny spring evenings, and travel have completely done me lately... Also, fuck April Fool's Day!!! Yesterday was such a pointless waste đ However, now I'm on Spring Break, and I would LOVE to get this finished asap Who wants to dive into the top 15??!!

Coming up at #15, one of our more polarizing songs, that even made it as low as bottom 2 with only like eight lists left before this got closed! The last-minute wave of love for this song was quite uncharacteristic of its early run, tbh.

"Drive" is easily one of the worst things I have ever heard from Ashley Monroe... That being said, the little harmonic run she does in the verses is really fun. That chorus is useless tho.

I love Kalie Shorr, and love the verse of this one, but the chorus was not my fav at all. = I'm Just Not That Into Amy

austin literally said in his PM that "Amy" reminded him of early Avril Lavigne like that was a BAD thing!!!!! That early-Avril vibe is precisely why I loved this one so much!! On top of that, I discovered "Escape" very quickly after discovering this one due to Darkest Hour's personal rankdown, which became my #1 in that rd, and have been immersing myself in Kalie's music pretty heavily ever since. She has such a unique angsty sound going on lately. But not angsty for the sake of being dramatic, because she actually has the strong songwriting to back it up and make it meaningful! Like, "He wasn't over me when you were under him" is just such a perfect closing line to the chorus, lol. Idk, I'm just really loving this angsty sound from her. I'm not surprised to see it be polarizing though! I'm just impressed it managed to make the top 14 despite having FOUR last place ranks

I was so anxious to hear new music from Ashley that I have to admit my first couple of listens to âDriveâ left me quite disappointed. I kept an open mind though and after a few more listens it gradually began to grow on me some. That said, Iâm still feeling a bit disappointed in the direction she is apparently taking with her next album era.
The same goes for âAmyâ as I was left wondering just what in the hell I had just listened to! I also had to give this one quite a few listens and each time I loved it more and more. Itâs definitely a jam!

Unfortunately, with "Leave Each Other Alone", razorshark loses his #2 right on the heels of his #1 :'( Also, đșCountryLineDancer loses his #1! I've listened to a few Jess Moskaluke song lately, and have had trouble getting into them, but this one was a whole different story! I love the way she sounds here, and this song has a really solid melody! Unfortunately it got off to a rough start here, but then it made up some ground in the second half to nearly make a run for the top 10!

Also, am I the only one who's noticed that the guitar intro to "Leave Each Other Alone" is literally the same as the steel guitar lick for Clay Walker's recent single, "Need A Bar Sometimes"? It's literally the same, just sped up (and simplified down to a quarter note structure rather than a 16th-note structure...)

Ahhhh I loved all 3 of these! I love this sound from Ashley, I instantly loved this song on first listen. Kalies took a minute to grow on me but itâs so different and I LOVE her writing. Jess is so polished and all around enjoyable! Iâd love to see her have some US success.

The #1s continue to drop like flies! This time the victim is Darkest Hour :( I really came to love this song this past month. The harmonies are sooooo great, the melody is incredible, and tbh this group is just so darn likable. I mentioned this in a thread about Chapel Hart a few weeks ago that this group has a really great social media presence from what I have observed so far. CMT put out a list of the Next Women of Country, and all the comments were like "I've never heard of these people", and the Chapel Hart Facebook Page was going around introducing themselves and promoting themselves in all of those comments. They even managed to take somebody fat shaming the lead singer and turn him into a fan just by going along with his joke and interacting with him. I'm really excited to see what the future holds for this group. It would be really cool (and historic in all the best ways) to have a black female trio see consistent success!

12. "I Will Follow" - Chapel Hart What Right?! Just look at how many people who normally stan women are in that list. And then look at how many of the ones that are left are usually fans of traditional country. Literally none of this makes sense.

Our final song to miss the top 10 is not anybody's #1 finally, but it is still a painful top 5 loss for bigfan101, taylor, and tim. Yet another song with an incredible melody! I feel like this one is a little more memorable than the last Lauren Duski song we had a couple months ago, although that one was also quite good. This one was in the back end of the top 10 for much of the submissions, but slipped out in the last 1/4 of the submission process and was never able to make a comeback unfortunately.
