Pre-mullet for sure...I'm just not digging that hairdo. I guess it suits him, though. As for "More Than My Hometown" it's just kinda meh for me, but I think it might grow on me a bit with time.

This was my first time listening to a song from Sara's new album and therefore since it just didn't initially standout for me I ended up putting it near the bottom of my list. I definitely need to come back around to this song, though, as it's one of those that I think I'll appreciate the more I listen to it.

Sara Evans leaves us at #7, which might be surprisingly early for those who have seen her performance in other rankdowns through the years! She is usually a strong contender to finish in the top 3, if not to completely win, almost every time she appears in rankdowns! "Hard To Say I'm Sorry", however, had trouble getting any higher than #7.

She absolutely SLAYS this song. Her voice is somehow continuing to get better and better as time passes, and this one has been a perfect encore for her concerts in recent years. Getting a studio version was basically a huge gift for her fans

The production might not be for everyone, but how about all the epic drum fills in this song!!!! I am SHOOK by the musical talent that went into this recording!

Y'all didn't seem to think Lady Antebellum would do this well here, but "Champagne Night" was pretty much our most solid #6 contender! "Champagne Night" is a really catchy song to me, so I am pleased to see that I am not alone in that assessment.

Mark Chesnutt continues to surprise me at times as he also performed well enough to get into the top ten in the third installment of the Best of the Best series. I wasn't at all expecting him to make it in the top ten here let alone the top 5, so I'll take it!

With four #1 ranks, Mark Chesnutt has the second-highest amount of #1s of the entire rankdown! This is the first song we are encountering that was actually a solid #1 contender. It held on for 5 whole lists, however even after it fell off the top, it continued to be within just a point or two of reclaiming it. It only lost ground in the 2nd half of submissions because the four remaining songs all suddenly started receiving a huge wave of high ranks. However, it never really stopped being a top 5 contender. Definitely the most well-loved song we have lost thus far, which is a pretty nice surprise for an older artist that doesn't really have a die-hard Pulse following!!

I'm just not getting the support for "I Don't Need to Know". I think it's one of the weakest songs included here and while I'm a fan of their most recent album I don't much care for this song at all.
