A #1 Debut for Stuck With U is very much possible it could happen the song is okay so I wouldn't mind if it happen. I think Say So best chance for a #1 is the 5/16 Chart week competing with savage.

I have a question with these physical/digital single bundles. Does it count twice towards the charts? One for the digital download and once for the physical version? If yes, sorry but that would be outright fraud/chart manipulation.

I think what counts is the digital download because physical singles don't count towards the Hot 100 anymore.

I'm pretty sure they don't considering they don't track them anymore, plus this article from 2017 says they don't: indiehitmaker.com/ihm_news/billboard-cancels-hot-singles-sales-chart/

If yes, sorry but that would be outright fraud/chart manipulation. What's the difference when back in the 90's some of us bought the cassette single and cd single? Because with that the consumer would have to exercise the additional choice of buying a second format of the record that would cost more money. In this case, at least what the options displayed in the previous post shows, there's no choice to buy one of the physical products alone at a lower cost without the digital single, thus the digital single is counted at no extra cost whether the consumer wants it or not. Doesn't Billboard have a rule about this concerning the album chart, that with an album bundled together with merchandise, both items have to also be available separately, and at a lower cost than the bundle? In regards to the Hot 100 Singles chart being canceled, that's true, but I would think physical sales still count toward the Hot 100? But in the case of these bundles for Stuck With U, it should really only count once, either as a digital download or a physical single

I can’t believe we’re letting Issues by Julia Michaels go #1 in 2020

At this point they may as well reintroduce the ‘Hot 100 Singles Sales’ chart or perhaps an altered version of it.
I’d like to see it alongside the Digital Songs chart so we could perhaps see, eventually, which format is selling more even if these Physical singles are being purchase in online bundles. That’d be interesting.
Also, in the 1990’s and as far to 2003/2004, it was common practice for labels to release a CD Single, Cassette Single and Maxi-Single (which contained several mixes of the same song), as well as even a traditional 7-inch vinyl single (which contained a B-side of a different song altogether) and 12-vinyl single also all within the same week.
What’s the difference between then and now? Either way:
• Multiple versions were/are being bought at once.
• All of them varied/vary in price but they all count towards the charts overall.
I don’t know why we act as if ‘chart manipulation’ (if that’s what you want to name it) is a new age phenomenon when it’s been happening since the era of Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley when the mob itself controlled the radios. 💀

If yes, sorry but that would be outright fraud/chart manipulation. 1. Bundle are all 1 sales. 2. in this case, it's tracked as digital sales. physical sales won't be recorded on nielsen/billboard. why +digital single/album? Physical product is counted when it's shipped to customers. all those recent physical singles are only made for chart and there's no product prepared to sell. meaning no shipment soon. so label added +digital and sell them as bundle, because digital sales are counted right away any time. there was interesting article on this practice. even tho physical singles became new trend with sales surge, those sales are not registered on nielsen soundscan because of +digital bundle.

they're tracked and counted. billboard simplly stopped making "hot singles sales chart" due to low sales, almost non-exist.

Oh okay I got what you mean. The only reason I thought they don't count is in the article above it says physical sales no longer count toward the Hot 100.

imagine if Say So got blocked by Savage, and then when the barbz try to push it to number one for this week, it just gets blocked again by the new 6ix9ine.

She's getting blocked by Beyonce, 6ix9ine, Justin, Ariana or Drake who are responsible for her 5 biggest collabs. MESS. really hopes she gets blocked!
