6ix9ine is no Dr. Dre or 2pac, but he does what he's supposed to do. He's probably the best entertainer in modern-day Hip-hop and that's how he is famous.

Yeah, but back in the day you had to have good airplay and good sales be top 10, etc. Back in the day, the Internet wasn't as dominant in everyday life (depending about what time period you are talking).
In the world today an artist can do stupid shit in his life and his music will be popular.

People got on his ass for it but act like they wouldn't do the exact same thing if they were in the same situation. Considering he was looking at 40+ years in prison and only ended up doing less than 2 I'd say it worked out pretty well |

Can someone help answer/clarify my question. Are they aiming for a “Say So” #1 on this Monday’s chart or the following week? The new remix looks like won’t count towards this weeks points, correct? No one seems to know what going on anymore. I have never seen such a cluttered Top 5 on the Hot 100 where it can pretty much be anybody’s shot for #1.

This Monday might be “Savage”’s week considering what a strong start it had. However, things have been leveling off for the song in both streaming and airplay, so Nicki/Doja see an opportunity in the week after that? They have a big airplay advantage which will continue to extend even next week comfortably, so an additional remix will keep it holding down the sales front by a large margin as well. Even if Savage wins in streaming, it might not be enough by next week. |
