Well, at least they removed the Nicki credit now instead of what did with the Beyoncé remix of "Perfect" and wait until its 6th week to remove it when most people don't really care about the remix anymore

interesting choice seeing how remix has better Spotify now, but I hadn't noticed how badly its sales plummeted until the other day. all other platforms have the solo version ahead, so does airplay, so it's only a matter of time that Spotify swaps out the remix for the album version on TTH.
hoping they can push Like That now & have a music video plan.

That was bound to happen. A one-off remix designed to give a short term boost was likely only going to give short term credit on the chart but still has remix credit and credit for the one week.

I would understand if she was removed from credit this week, but how is it possible to retroactively remove her credit for last week? does that mean her remix didn't score higher than the original last week?

This tweet makes it sound like "Say So" is a Nicki original. No mention of "Say So" being an existing Top 5 smash that was rising towards the top anyway. I guess Doja Cat is just a figment of our collective imaginations? Cheapest ride to #1 ever. If I were Nicki, after all she accomplished, I wouldn't even cheapen my brand with desperation by taking the credit for such minimal involvement. |

Yeah, the original has more airplay and is selling more. It’s really sad that Nicki got her first #1 like this. For someone who had a 10+ year career with no #1, her first chart topper should’ve been monumental

Y'all are so damn extra. They always update the last week so it lines up with this week. Remember when they credited Nicki the week before it went #1? Just because Billboard has a terrible site doesn't mean they took Nicki's credit away from last week.
