This was the song that got her a lot of attention. Just as it had been with some of her other singles, this was an R&B song in its original version. But it went on to be a huge club hit with the remixes by Johnny Vicious. His Hard Mix is considered one of the all time best big room, tribal songs.
Johnny's Hard mix is 12 minutes long and epic with massive buildups and breakdowns and has a fantastic Spanish guitar driven bridge that makes for a massive drama moment when it hits. Veronica's vocals are utilized to great effect. Johnny's Garage mix isn't as dark but it's still hard-hitting and pays homage to David Morales' groundbreaking remix of "Dreamlover".

This is an absolute monster of a song. It has absolutely stood the test of time. Others have tried to update it but none have been able to come up with anything better. I used to hear this out all the time at school dances, in clubs, and most recently have heard this song at 20 times over the course of the last 8 weeks in various Twitch and Facebook virtual DJ sets.

Oh my does this bring back memories of clubs, after hour parties and walking in at 7am thinking it was normal…. This was/is one of my favorites from that era. I had the maxi cd single, but never paid the original any mind. I love it now. Great song!
