3 weeks at #1. First since Miranda. First in eleven years. You love to see women be successful in country music; especially new women. I'm personally hoping they're debating between the title track and "Thank God." I'd like "Strong" but after two mid-tempos, it probably wouldn't go well. "Write It On My Heart" and "Footprints" are viable options as well imo.

I feel like it’s gonna be between "Hall of Fame" and "Footprints" for the next single (assuming they stick with the album).
I’m so thrilled that this got three weeks at #1! Long overdue. Hope there are many more multi-week #1s in her future!

Hope there are many more multi-week #1s in her future! Hall of fame would fail because it’s exactly like the good ones. Her first two singles had major traction before being released to radio. She even did a video for the good ones well before it’s release. This will be the first single that won’t have traction before it’s released to radio. Goldmine reminds me of vintage Carrie so I could see that being a single. Thank god is different enough then the good ones I think it would do ok. I still like Jesus and my manna.

I’m hoping for every jack needs a rose or Jesus and my mama. I think Jesus and my mama probably the best shot at a 3rd #1. I think a 3rd single with her tour coming up should push this album platinum. Anyone know the total sales for Goldmine Album? I know it’s gold but still be nice to know how far from platinum the album is. What Gabby been able to do is like Carrie Underwood type success. I know sales are a lot less but it’s different times albums are a lot harder to sell when everyone has Spotify and Apple Music.

Those are easily my two least favorite songs on the album so definitely disagree with your opinion here. I'm team "Footprints" or "Thank God" and I think it'll end up being one of those two. "Hall of Fame" is my favorite song left on the album but it's too similar in sound to "The Good Ones" so I'm for another uptempo. I'm not a fan of "Goldmine" either and that's the other one that keeps getting thrown around. I would think that would be pretty polarizing since the chorus is so loud. "Thank God" followed closely by "Footprints" would definitely be the most radio friendly options and most likely to land Gabby back in the top 5.

But if I had the job of choosing her next single. Based off of what has the best chance at radio. Then footprints and thank God would have to be the two leading candidates. Thank Gods probably the most radio friendly song left. I love every song on the album so whatever they chose I can easily get behind

Such a superstar performance.
Truly believe they've found the megastar of the genre for the next decade.

Definitely see it being between her and Maren as the next “it” girl. What’s kind of ironic is Gabby’s label (Warner) was originally set to sign Maren before Sony swept in a got her.

Like Carrie you can’t tell the difference between her singing live and recorded. She is such a good live singer.

Rough day for her PR team yesterday. Did anyone else notice they had to disable commenting?

Why this had to turn into a “Gabby vs Maren” discussion is beyond me. God forbid we be able to simply celebrate two women kicking butt in the genre without pitting them against one another.

I am sure it has gone on forever, but I remember the days of Faith vs Shania and Taylor vs Carrie. You just so seldom see it when it's two men! Instead women should cook, clean, do laundry and dishes according to Gabby's husband

I'm sure I'm on an island here, but I don't really see the issue with his comments. I think he's just expressing that he likes that she enjoys the normal gender roles that used to be common. She's obviously showing in the post that she's happy and proud with what she's doing and feels great about being a normal mother/wife while balancing her career. Me and a friend were discussing once about how honestly now if you're a woman and you just want to be a stay at home mom that cares for the household all the time (typical gender roles), that you're looked down upon because you're not trying to progress feminism and IMO there's really some truth in that. I do see where his comments can be taken the wrong way, but IMO he's acknowledging all the work she does and thanking her.

Gabby got 9 nominations at the Billboard Music Awards, including some big ones: - Top New Artist - Top Hot 100 Song - Top Selling Song - Top Radio Song - Top Collaboration - Top Country Artist - Top Female Country Artist - Top Country Album - Top Country Song
I assume she will win Female Country Artist & Country Song at least.

The men in her life are a total liability. Between her father and her husband she is going to continue to have a rough PR road ahead of her. I wholeheartedly disagree with her politics but I can understand her decision to remain "out of it", as problematic as it is. I don't believe she has any other choice. Her husband making those comments are totally despicable and I have to wonder if he feels at odds with the idea that she is bringing home her family's income. There's no way it doesn't bother him to the point of having to publicly declare that she should and is doing "women's work". (I mean... if the "man's" role is to go out and work and make an income while the woman stays home, and Gabby is doing BOTH...you have to wonder what he's up to.

Some woman like taking care of their households and men. We are natural care takers. She had mentioned a ton how helpful he is with household chores. He just might not say it the right way. Men like to be born leaders. Woman need to stop being so hard Azz. I hate to say it but men don’t like it.

As he should. 🤣🤣🤪 Of course I’m joking, mostly. He is gross though, that much is true.

Women are entitled to their opinions about how they are treated by society and if men don’t like those opinions they can deal with it. The truth hurts but it has to be heard! There are actually so many things wrong with what Cade said. For starters, it’s not the 1900s. Secondly, Gabby is not his mother; what is he gonna do when he’s hungry and she’s off on tour or something? Can he not cook for himself and clean after himself? Clearly he can if he helps out like Gabby says he does. If Gabby likes to be the one doing the household chores, all power to her! But she’s not obligated to it and it is not her job.
