Rain On Me is surprisingly good in my opinion. I hope it can become a hit somehow.
Also after listening to the new The 1975 album, Tonight (I Wish I Was Your Boy) definitely seems like an interesting choice to go on the New Music Friday playlist on Spotify but I can’t say any other song from the album deserved it more.
Really excited for this week now based on those two releases.

KSI seems to be getting a fair amount of traction with the new album, it’s higher than Gunna on iTunes, I wonder if it can get traction on other platforms too and maybe get a charting song to go with Don’t Rush in the drill trend

The other songs were All About That Bass, Shake It Off, Boom Clap and Chandelier. The only song by a male lead artist was Stay With Me. |

But seriously, what will Billboard do if someone like Mariah Carey identifies as a male? Will they have to retroactively change all the records for females that he held, and the records for males that he will now beat? And what about all the awards for best female that he won? Would they have to take them off him? It's going to happen one day, and people will complain no matter what they do... I hope they are preparing on how to handle it. |

I love the music video omg.. the dancing is very silly but the rest looks so fleshed out and appealing! Feels like Stupid Love was merely an introduction to this new era and Rain On Me will end up being the real big hit from it tbh

Nothing I've seen or heard for Rain On Me has convinced me yet that it will cross over well into the mainstream beyond Lady Gaga's core stans. I suppose we'll have to wait and see whether the song hits the goals that they have for its first week, and whether it sticks around at all after that.
