Nevermind, looks like Doja Cat won't get credited on In Your Eyes after all. The remix is nowhere on the charts today - the streams must've been merged into the original.

Doja has been getting a lot of attention from twitter. One minute theyβre cancelling her and the next theyβre saying sorry

How does HB have this many? I assume it means they are including "Sunflower," but wasn't it initially from a soundtrack?

^Yeah. But do to Billboard's own quirky rules, since Hollywood's Bleeding has been outselling that soundtrack, all of Sunflower's top 10 got shifted to the former, even if they started as being part of the latter. That's part of the mess created by trying to credit song's weekly streaming and sales to albums.

They tried it! πβ οΈπ For the sake of giving Post Malone this βachievementβ, theyβre adding an asterisk to those albums that were re-released. By that logic, βHBβ needs an asterisk next to it as βSunflowerβ was originally part of a OST that was put onto the album later on. If we remove the 33 weeks that βSunflowerβ scored then he is at number two. Regardless... β’ Katy Perry is at number one with βTD. β’ Usher is at number three with βConfessionsβ. They also forgot to include Rihannaβs βGGGBβ era which is at 60+ weeks and Ed Sheeranβs βDivideβ total is incorrect.

Billboard rules are not good (way too many gray areas), but this instance isn't one of it. RIAA (which has better rules in place imo) has a rule about the specific situation surounding Sunflower. Basically what Post did is allowed, a track from an album by various artists will count toward the certification only if it is unique to the album. So an artist can take the track and add it to his/her album (doesn't matter weather before or after the release of the album by various artists). {Some extra} Sunflower was on the Spiderverse soundtrack. Post decided to take it and add it to his studio album 'HB'. 100% legal move. Even if the soundtrack was certified at some point before 'Hollywood's Bleeding', he is still allowed to take it and add it to his album. Only difference is streams and song sales will count toward HB from the day of certification (not release day). Example: The soundtrack is certified Platinum on 3rd of May 2019. Song sales and streams from Sunflower from may 4th and onward will count toward Hollywood's Bleeding.
RIAA has way better rules regarding greatest hits, they let the labels choose at the moment of certification weather the track will count toward the studio album or the greatest hits album.
On Billboard every f**king week there are greatest hits albums that are going -80 one week +80 the next week.
Edit: I am not talking about this record of top 10 weeks. I am talking about Sunflower being part of Hollywood's Bleeding and not the movie soundtrack.
Edit 2: Regarding the record it is really iffy, the song reigned in the top 10 while it was still part of the Soundtrack, so an impossible scenario the soundtrack outsells the album. Hollywood's bleeding as an era looses 33 weeks in top 10. lmao

Whole Lotta Red is dropping along with the surprise release (unless WLR is the surprise and it wasnβt really a surprise) so next week could be really messy

Amazing progress for ROM! I just didn't think the US would go after house music at this time. I thought maybe ROM would be dropping already after Friday's splash. However, I just made a scan of the charts... KWORB has it at number#1 YouTube 6,911,555 AM has it in Top 15

So the actual number for yesterday was 2.4 million. That's a 46% drop over Friday's numbers.

"Rain On Me" is top 10 on Apple Music now; I think it's a good call for #1 at this point.
The fact it's having good longevity on Apple Music of all services says enough. It also has an Amazon Music commercial so it should do well there too... "Underdog" went top 20 on Amazon Music with a commercial and that was a flop, while this is big out the gate.

Yup, "Rain On Me" has steadily been #3 or #4 on Apple Music since Friday, without the Gunna album bomb of course. Hopefully it can finish the week in the Top 10! I'm shocked at how good it seems to be doing, way to go Gagiana

As far as I'm concerned, Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande have released the Song of The Summer. Rain On Me is EVERYTHING I never knew I needed!!

predictions are trending upward so it looks extremely likely that "Rain on Me" is going #1. safe to say that it won't miss the Top 5.
Gaga had a single top five hit in each of her last three eras (ASIB, Joanne & ARTPOP). Born This Way had 2: "The Edge of Glory" (#3) and the title track (#1).
In that sense, Chromatica is shaping up to be her biggest era since 2011. Of course, I'd put an asterisk next to ASIB since it isn't a solo venture, and it was a triumphant moment in her career that even led to an acting Oscar. (Hailee Steinfeld and Lady Gaga are the only people to get an acting Oscar nomination and multiple Top 40 hits on the Hot 100 last decade!)
happy to see her back. I have high hopes for the BLACKPINK collaboration. "Babylon" sounds super gay, so I'm living.

We have to include Bradley Cooper as well (He got 3 best actor nominations on the last decade), and... Im not quite sure but Jennifer Lawrence's "Hanging Tree" was a top 15 hit or something on the hot 100.
