Attempting to avoid one-hit wonder status, Hozier return to the chart with "Too Sweet." It's their 2nd top 40 hit and their first in 9 years. "Take Me To Church" peaked at #2 back in February 2015!

Noah Kahan scores his first top 10 with "Stick Season," a song which was covered by Olivia Rodrigo as a RSD release this year.

Speaking of Olivia Rodrigo she scores her 7th top 10 hit with "Obsessed." "Get Him Back" peaked at #8 in February.

The Weeknd scores his 24th top 20 with "One of the Girls." "Popular" peaked at #14 back in October. It's the first appearances for Jennie & Lily Rose Depp.

Knox and Djo score their first top 20 hits with "Not the 1975" and "End of Beginning" respectively.

Debuting this week:

Dua Lipa leads 4 debuts as "Illusion" lands at #27, her 22nd top 40 as a lead.

Anything worth mentioning? Oh yeah some album by some girl called Taylor Swift dropped this week and one of the songs managed to squeak onto the chart at #13 with "Fortnight." This same act who many people are still getting to learn about also lands at #40 with "My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys." Taylor now has 41 top 40 hits as a lead.

Recurrents/Exits:

With Taylor's new album bomb, it does result in "Cruel Summer" riding off into autumn after 45 weeks. It topped the chart for 10 total weeks beginning in August. Doja Cat now has the oldest song charting at 38 weeks. It might go in a couple of weeks. Then again it might not.

MAINSTREAM TOP 40 OVERVIEW:

SZA lands her 2nd solo #1 hit as "Saturn" leaps 3-1. "Kill Bill" topped the chart last April. Despite movement in the top, there were no top 5 or top 10 entries.

Shaboozey and Tommy Richman both score their first top 20 hits with "A Bar Song" and "Million Dollar Baby" respectively.

Despite a slow week we have two JACKPOTS to report. Olivia Rodrigo at #10 and Jelly Roll at #18.

Debuting this week:

A rather slow week this week after last week but we do get 2 debuts. The first one brings some Asian fusion to the chart as South Korea's Bibi and China's Jackson Wang team up on "Feeling Lucky." It's Bibi's first hit as a lead and 2nd appearance overall. She was featured on 88Rising's "The Weekend" which peaked at #31 back in February 2022. It's Jackson's 4th top 40 hit. "Drive You Home" peaked at #39 back in October 2021.

Twenty One Pilots are back with "The Craving" at #40. It's their 9th top 40 and their first in nearly 3 years. "Saturday" peaked at #24 back in September 2021.
