HOT AC/AC OVERVIEW:
On the Hot AC:
Dua Lipa scores her 8th top 10 hit with "Houdini."
Legacy act U2 score their 10th top 20 with "Atomic City" and their first in 5 years. "Love is Bigger Than Anything in Its Way" peaked at #18 in August 2018.
Debuting This Week:
Noah Kahan leads 3 debuts with "Stick Season," his 4th top 40 hit. "Dial Drunk" peaked at #9 in November. "Stick Season" is also now Noah's highest peaking solo hit on the Hot 100.
Tate McRae scores her 7th top 40 hit with "Exes."
The Jonas Brothers close out the chart with their 12th top 40 hit "Strong Enough." "Waffle House: peaked at #10 back in July. This marks the first ever appearance for country singer Bailey Zimmerman.
Recurrents/Exits:
Luke Combs goes recurrent this week. If the 52-week rule holds, Miley Cyrus goes next week with "Flowers" and Dua Lipa is in the danger zone. Matchbox Twenty and Sarah Reeves are bulleted so they should be safe.
On the AC:
11 of the top 13 are unchanged.
There is something worth noting today. THis week Miley Cyrus breaks Maroon 5's record for most weeks at #1 on the AC chart. A record that should stand at least until 2025.
Debuting This Week:
Luke Harrison has the only entry and it's a re-entry with "Make Me Better."
Recurrents/Exits:
I highlighted 5 songs and 4 of them should've gone this week (or any week). I didn't highlight "Karma" because the song was bulleted this week.

HOT AC/AC OVERVIEW:
On the Hot AC:
Taylor Swift has logged her 20th week at #1 and she doesn't appear to be letting go anytime soon. She also logs her 30th top 10 as "Is It Over Now?" moves 11-8.
Debuting This Week:
Ariana Grande has a huge debut at #17 with :Yes, And?" It's her 26th top 40 as a lead and her first in nearly 3 years. "POV" peaked at #24 back in June 2021. This is also her 15th top 20. "Positions" peaked at #9 in February 2021.
Jennifer Lopez also makes a return this week as "Can't Get Enough" lands at #37, her 5th top 40 hit. "On My Way (Marry Me)" peaked at #26 in March 2022.
Recurrents/Exits:
"Flowers" hits the 52 week mark and is gone. The Alcott will be off next week either by recurrent or natural drop off. Sarah Reeves is bulletless and is now in the danger zone. Jelly Roll and Dua Lipa are teetering in the top 10 and either could go if someone jumps them.
On the AC:
Taylor Swift finally brings a new non-Christmas song to #1 as "Cruel Summer" tops the chart. It's her 9th #1. "Anti-Hero" topped for 3 weeks beginning last March.
Debuting This Week:
In a rarity, Nathan Morris becomes an AC Wannabe with 2 songs on the chart as "Last Time" enters at #24. It's his 2nd AC hit.
For the first time in their 25+ year career, Blink 182 crack the AC chart. "One More Time" lands at #27.
Christian singer Sarah Reeves scores her 2nd AC hit with her Hot AC hit "Get Back Your Fight." "Christmas Feels Different This Year" peaked at #22 last month.
Recurrents/Exits:
Does AC even have recurrent rules anymore?

HOT AC/AC OVERVIEW:
On the Hot AC:
Tate McRae has her 2nd top 5 with "Greedy." "You Broke Me First" peaked at #4 in June 2021.

Jelly Roll gets his 2nd top 40 hit with "Save Me." "Need a Favor" peaked at #4 in December.
Doja Cat gets her 9th top 40 as a lead with "Agora Hills."
Recurrents/Exits:
Jelly Roll debuts and exits this week as "Need a Favor" goes recurrent. Dua Lipa, Matchbox 20 and Sarah Reeves are in danger.
On the AC:
Miley Cyrus reclaims the top spot for a 38th total week.
Debuting This Week:
Ariana Grande has the lone debut with "Yes, And?" at #29. It's her 14th AC hit as a lead. "Santa Can't You Hear Me" peaked at #11 Christmas 2022.
Recurrents/Exits:
Apparently AC has changed their recurrent rules, not for the better making the chart become moreso stale & repetitive.

86 weeks on Adult Contemporary chart for "Unstoppable" wow! Where does it rank among longest charting songs? I think Savage Garden's "I Knew I Loved You" still holds the record at 124 weeks, but recurrent rules were much lower then.

HOT AC/AC OVERVIEW:
On the Hot AC:
The top 5 are unchanged.
Justin Timberlake soars 30-13 with "Selfish," his 11th top 20 as a lead. "Keep Going Up!" peaked at #14 in October.
Noah Kahan gets his 2nd top 20 with "Stick Season." "Dial Drunk" peaked at #9 in November.
Debuting This Week:
Tennessee native Knox scores his first top 40 hit with "Not the 1975."
22 years after its initial US release, Sophie Ellis-Bextor's viral hit "Murder on the Dancefloor" debuts at #38, her first top 40 hit. Looks like they got on the ball before Mediabase did.
Sabrina Carpenter scores her 2nd top 40 hit with "Feather." "Nonsense" peaked at #39 in March.
Recurrents/Exits:
Matchbox Twenty goes recurrent from their #17 peak. Dua Lipa is still in danger. Sarah Reeves is bulleted so she should be safe.
On the AC:
Taylor Swift reclaims the top spot for a 2nd total week.
Debuting This Week:
We start with 2 big debuts. First off it's the return of the piano man himself, Billy Joel with a massive #11 debut after just 1 day of airplay! A true AC king it's his 37th AC hit and his first in 26 years!! "Hey Girl" peaked at #13 back in January 1998!!
Justin Timberlake also gets a big debut at #14 with "Selfish," his 11th AC hit. "Keep Going Up!" peaked at #25 in October.
Rachel Platten is back on the chart with "Girls," her 4th AC hit and her first in over 6 years. "Broken Glass" peaked at #25 in November 2017.
Recurrents/Exits:
3 songs go recurrent this week despite the downgraded rules. Lewis Capaldi, David Guetta/Anne-Marie & Olivia Rodrigo are out. The only chance for a recurrent next week is if Billy & Justin do a 1-2 punch to "I'm Good."
