HOT AC/AC OVERVIEW:
On the Hot AC:
*NSYNC score their first ever Hot AC top 10 with "Better Place."
Teddy Swims has his first top 20 as a lead on "Lose Control." He was a featured artist on Meghan Trainor's #15 hit "Bad for Me."
Tate McRae scores her 3rd top 20 with "Greedy." "She's All I Wanna Be" peaked at #18 in May 2022.
Debuting This Week:
The Kid Laroi jumps in at #33 with Jung Kook & Central Cee on "Too Much." It's his 5th top 40 hit. "Love Again" peaked at #11 back in April.
Christian crossover Lauren Daigle scores her 4th top 40 hit with "Turbulent Skies." "Thank God I Do" peaked at #15 in September.
Recurrents/Exits:
Karma goes recurrent this week. While SZA is in her 20th week, she is bulleted to whether she goes next week is questionable.
On the AC:
The top 17 remains the same. YAWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Debuting This Week:
Paul Russell scores his first AC hit with the "Best of My Love" sampled "Lil Boo Thang." The original song did not chart on AC but topped the Hot 100 for 5 weeks in August 1977.
Olivia Rodrigo gets another shot with a new peak of #26 with "Bad Idea Right."
Recurrents/Exits:
Despite being at week #53, "I'm Good," remained on the chart in what was a very boring week. His other song "Baby Don't Hurt Me" is eligible for recurrent next week. This is also the final week before Christmas begins to take over so we should have some fun charts coming soon.

HOT AC/AC OVERVIEW:
On the Hot AC:
Luke Combs re-enters the top 5 with "Fast Car" while Selena Gomez re-enters the top 10 with "Single Soon."
Debuting This Week:
Only one debut this week but a big #23 entry for Taylor Swift's "Is It Over Now." It's her 41st top 40 as a lead.
Recurrents/Exits:
SZA is the only potential recurrent again, but she might survive another week.
On the AC:
13 of the top 15 remain the same.
Debuting This Week:
Christmas begins with a 5-debut week! 77-year old Cher leads the troop at #22 with her first Christmas hit "DJ Play a Christmas Song." It's her 29th AC hit and her first in 5 years. Her cover of "Fernando" peaked at #22 in July 2018.
Debut #2 is a non-Christmas song, but a collab of Marshmello, Pink, & Sting on "Dreaming." It's Marshmello's 4th AC hit. "Leave Before You Love Me" peaked at #6 in November 2021. For Pink it's her 22nd AC hit. "Trustfall" peaked at #15 back in May. For Sting it's his 16th top 40 hit and his first in 17 years! "Always On Your Side" peaked at #12 back in June 2006!
Producer GOAT David Foster teams up with wife Katharine McPhee on another Christmas hit, "Carol of the Bells." Their rendition of "Jingle Bell Rock" peaked at #9 last Christmas. It's Foster's 6th AC hit and the 4th for McPhee.
It's not Christmas without some Pentatoix as "Please Santa Please" enters at #29. It's their 14th AC hit. "Kid on Christmas" peaked at #10 last year.
Taylor Swift closes off the hust debut list at #30 with "Is It Over Now." It's her 41st AC hit as a lead.
Recurrents/Exits:
Both David Guetta songs survive somehow. Let's see if a Christmas push can knock some songs out, but so far the AC wannabes seem to be getting the hit.

HOT AC/AC OVERVIEW:
On the Hot AC:
Boring top 10 this week.
"Dreaming," the collab between Marshmello, Pink, & Sting enters the top 20. It's the 9th top 20 for Marshmello. "Numb" with Khalid peaked at #19 in October last year. For Pink it's her 27th top 20. "Trustfall" peaked at #5 back in July. For Sting it's his 6th top 20 and his first in 17 years! "Always On Your Side" with Sheryl Crow peaked at #11 back in April 2006!
Doja Cat scores her 4th top 20 as a lead with "Paint the Town Red." "You Right" peaked at #12 in April of last year while she was featured on "I Like You" which peaked at #8 last November.
Debuting This Week:
Oliva Rodrigo has the only debut this week with "Get Him Back!" It's her 7th top 40 hit.
Recurrents/Exits:
SZA goes recurrent despite only peaking at #32. Next week we say goodbye to Fall Out Boy and Train.
On the AC:
The Christmas season brings Cher into the top 10 for the first time in 24 years!! "DJ Play A Christmas Song" leaps 15-6 & becomes her 15th top 10 on the format. Her last top 10 was "Believe" which peaked at #3 back in April of 1999! She is predicted to move 6-1 next week which would be her first #1 since 1989!!!
Debuting This Week:
5 Christmas songs debut this week. Leading the pack is violinist Lindsey Stirling whose rendition of "Sleigh Ride" lands at #18. It's a track from her 2022 album "Snow Waltz. This is her 6th AC hit. Last year her rendition of "Joy to the World" peaked at #11.
80-year old Barry Manilow makes his triumphant return to his staple format with a cover of Mariah Carey's "All I Want For Christmas is You," landing at #21. This is his 58th AC hit. "When the Good Times Come Again" peaked at #12 back in July 2020.
AC wannabe Melinda Lindner has her first AC hit with her rendition of "White Christmas."
Jimmy Fallon teams up with Meghan Trainor this year on the original "Wrap Me Up." It's Jimmy's 2nd AC hit. His collab with Dolly Parton "Almost Too Early For Christmas" got to #30 last year. For Meghan it's her 13th AC hit as a lead. "Mad You Look" peaked at #9 back in March.
40-year old jazz singer Peter Cincotti scores his first AC hit with "Because It's Christmas" landing at #27.
Recurrents/Exits:
The only recurrent to actually go this week was "Baby Don't Hurt Me" although numbers indicate it may have fallen out naturally. Unless it comes back in January in the top 15 it should not return. "I'm Good" once again avoids recurrentness. The Christmas push should be enough to knock 2 Taylor songs into recurrent next week.

HOT AC/AC OVERVIEW:
On the Hot AC:
Boring top 10 this week (again).
Matchbox Twenty score their 17th top 20 hit with "Don't Get Me Wrong" and their first in a decade. "Our Song" peaked at #19 back in July 2013!
Debuting This Week:
AJR score their 8th top 40 hit with "Yes, I'm A Mess." "World's Smallest Violin" peaked at #34 in November last year.
South African singer Kenya Grace has her first top 40 hit with "Strangers."
Recurrents/Exits:
Fall Out Boy and Train both go recurrent next week. Regardless, The Band Camino are out next week.
On the AC:
Cher is the early 2023 Christmas Queen as "DJ Play A Christmas Song" leaps 6-1 giving Cher her 3rd #1 in AC land and her first in 34 years. Both of her other #1s happened in 1989. Her duet "After All" with Peter Cetera topped the chart in April, and in September she topped with "If I Could Turn Back Time."
Pentatonix score their 7th top 10 with "Please Santa Please." last year they reached the same spot #10 with "Kid on Christmas."
Debuting This Week:
Christian signer Sarah Reeves scores her first AC hit with "Christmas Feels Different This Year." She is currently charting on Hot AC with "Get Back Your Fight."
Dua Lipa scores her 9th AC hit with "Houdini."
Taylor Swift and Paul Russell both get nice re-entries with new peak positions with "Is it Over Now" and "Lil Boo Thang" respectively.
Recurrents/Exits:
"I'm Good" finally goes recurrent this week, and should not return after the break. Anti-Hero slips 5-6 and should've gone. "Karma" could go next week but who knows.

HOT AC/AC OVERVIEW:
On the Hot AC:
After 2 boring weeks in the top 10 we finally see something worth mentioning. Summer is finally over as Miley Cyrus tops the chart with "Used to Be Young," her 2nd #1 on the format, both of which occurring in 2023.
Dua Lipa scores her 8th top 10 with "Houdini," the first single from her forthcoming album. The top 10 this week consists of 6 solo female lead hits.
Blink 182 score their first ever Hot AC top 20 this week with "One More Time." Surprisingly they have never gotten higher than #24 until this year.
Sia scores her 6th top 20 as a lead with "Gimme Love." "Unstoppable" topped the chart October last year.
Debuting This Week:
Christmas arrives in Hot AC land this year as Jimmy Fallon lands his first Hot AC hit with "Wrap Me Up." For Meghan Trainor it's her 18th top 40 as a lead. "Mother" peaked at #18 back in May.
Australian Christian duo For King & Country close out the chart with their #1 Christian Airplay hit "What Are We Waiting For?" It's their 7th top 40 hit. "Love Me Like I Am" with Jordin Sparks peaked at #26 back in April.
Recurrents/Exits:
Olivia Rodrigo and The Band Camino go recurrent this week. Tghe only one who might have a chance at recurrent next week is Luke Combs.
On the AC:
Despite the Christmas rush, Dua Lipa manages a nice 7-4 leap with "Dance the Night" scoring her 5th top 5. "Cold Heart" topped the chart starting in May last year.
Christmas brings the first AC top 10 for Jimmy Fallon and the 7th for Meghan Trainor as a lead. "Made You Look" peaked at #9 back in March. This is Meghan's 3rd time appearing on a Christmas top 10 hit and the first time she appears as a lead.
Debuting This Week:
No debuts this week but Marshmello, Pink & Sting get another crack with "Dreaming" re-entering this week.
Recurrents/Exits:
Ant-Hero should've gone this week thanks to Dua Lipa but alas we're stills tstuck with it, however Karma correctly is removed. Next week we say goodbye most likely to Vampire, and who knows if anything else. Is there a possibility Calm Down could go recurrent on AC before it does on Pop and Hot AC? :O

HOT AC/AC OVERVIEW:
On the Hot AC:
Miley is a one-week wonder as Taylor Swift returns to the top spot for a 15th week in her 3rd run at the top.
Paul Russell has his first top 5 with "Lil Boo Thang" (didn't I just say this in Pop?)
Debuting This Week:
Alicia Keys lands at #34 this week with "Lifeline," from the upcoming film adaptation of "The Color Purple." It's her 7th top 40 hit and first in 3 years. "Love Looks Better" peaked at #28 back in November 2020.
Jack Harlow has his 2nd top 40 as a lead with "Lovin On Me." "First Class" peaked at #17 in August last year.
Recurrents/Exits:
No recurrents this week, but Luke Combs is teetering on going anytime.
On the AC:
Jimmy Fallon has his first top 5 with "Wrap Me Up" and Meghan Trainor has her 5th as a lead. Meghan's version of "White Christmas" with another comedian, Seth McFarlane, topped the chart Christmas 2020.
Debuting This Week:
Better late than never as 98 Degrees blast onto the chart at #19 with a new version of "The First Noel." It's their 7th AC hit and their first in 6 years. "Season of Love" peaked at #18 Christmas 2017.
Teddy Swims has his first AC hit as a lead with "Lose Control."
Olivia Rodrigo and Billie Eilish both get Christmas reprieves as 'Bad Idea Right" and "What Was I Made For" re-enter respectively.
Recurrents/Exits:
We're still stuck with Anti-Hero, but in a super rarity, "Calm Down" goes recurrent in AC Land before Pop and Hot AC. Care to take notes other charts? Olivia Rodrigo also should've gone this week, but stayed on. Ed Sheeran and Lewis Capaldi are in the danger zone, but Lewis has defied recurrent rules in the past.

Anti-Hero stays on for a 62nd week.
Are they just not noticing that it should go recurrent? Or does it still have a bullet so that's why they are not removing it?

HOT AC/AC OVERVIEW:
On the Hot AC:
8 of the top 10 are unchanged, but Billie Eilish manages to get into the top 5 with "What Was I Made For." It's her 3rd top 5. "Therefore I Am" peaked at #5 back in April 2021.
Christian singer Sarah Reeves scores her first top 20 with "Get Back Your Fight."
Olivia Rodrigo is 7 for 7 on top 20s as "Get Him Back" moves 25-20.
Debuting This Week:
No debuts/re-entries this week.
Recurrents/Exits:
Noah Kahan will go recurrent next week.
On the AC:
In the final full week of Christmas music, Cher is easily Christmas Queen 2023 topping the chart for a month.
Producer GOAT David Foster and wifey Katharine McPhee crack the top 10 again this year with "Carol of the Bells." It's the 4th top 10 for FOster and the 2nd for McPhee. They reached #9 last year with "Jingle Bell Rock."
Debuting This Week:
61-year old Michael Damian who scored a #1 Hot 100 hit in 1989 with "Rock On" and starred on "The Young & The Restless" scores his 5th AC hit with "Bring Back the Christmas Card" and his first in 14 years! His updated version of "Rock On" peaked at #28 in 2009. This is the first appearance for Sharon Hendrix who has been in the industry since the 70s.
Tate McRae has her 2nd AC hit with "Greedy." "You Broke Me First" peaked at #15 in June 2021.
Recurrents/Exits:
None of the 4 songs that were supposed to go recurrent went away *sigh*. Next week with the beginning of the CHristmas clearout, who knows what'll happen.

Should be 17 weeks at #1 for Taylor’s “Cruel Summer” on Adult Pop not 16. Which ties her with Goo Goo Dolls “Iris” and Miley Cyrus’ “Flowers” for most weeks at #1. If she makes it to 19 weeks then she’ll have the 4th biggest hit on the chart ever. The record is 25 weeks at #1 which was Santana & Rob Thomas’ hit “Smooth”.

HOT AC/AC OVERVIEW:
On the Hot AC:
Some swapping but nothing monumental. Tate McRae does get her 2nd top 10 with "Greedy." "You Broke Me First" pealed at #4 in June 2021.
Debuting This Week:
South African singer Tyla scores her first top 40 hit with "Water."
Jared Leto led Thirty Seconds to Mars score their 3rd top 40 with "Seasons" and their first in over 12 years! "Closer to the Edge" peaked at #16 back in July 2011!
Recurrents/Exits:
Noah Kahan goes recurrent and David Kushner will go next week.
On the AC:
Some Christmas decorations have been put away as Miley Cyrus reclaims the top spot for now a 35th week. Luke COmbs re-enters the top 5 and gets a new peak at #3. Taylor Swift also rebounds to #4 with "Anti-Hero."
Ed Sheeran rebounds 11-7 with "Eyes Closed."
Debuting This Week:
There are 5 re-entries this week and no debuts. David Guetta & Bebe Rexha who should not have re-entered unless Billboard did away with the top 5 rule, are #9. Rema & Selena Gomez re-enter at #12 with "Calm Down," another mistake as it's not top 10. Taylor Swift re-enters at #15 with "Karma," yet another mistake as it's not top 10. Natalie Grant and Cory Asbury re-enter at #22 with their cover of "You Will Be Found," which is correctly eligible. Billie EIlish's "Barbie" hit "What Was I Made For" re-enters at #24 and gets a new peak position.
Recurrents/Exits:
With the Christmas clearout continuing next week, no recurrents are expected. There's a chance Cher could get one last week on the chart.
