I didn’t know Mike was a Trump supporter? How do we know this for sure? Simply curious. Check the tweets he favorites on Twitter.

Divorce that man, Carrie! Save yourself!
(Yes, I’m being facetious but I have a hard time believing any decent, empathetic human being can think the way those tweets suggest).

I'm just happy she supports me. Being in the LGBTQ+ community, that's all I care about (aside from her stance on racism which I think is also very clear). Knowing that she thinks I should have the basic human right of loving who I love and being who I want to be makes me so happy because her music has quite literally saved my life multiple times. Word. I reckon her song "Love Wins" was a loud statement that she believes and supports the human race as it is - embracing diversity. I've loved Carrie since the American Idol days and I have no plans to stop doing so, especially not for her husband's political leanings. Having said that, she is bound to have parenting issues with Mike in the future.

Hasn't Carrie always said that they were a very unlikely pairing since they're such vastly different people?

I have truly never been less in the mood for a wintery religious experience than during a heatwave in 2020, but I did listen to LTBP, Hallelujah, and O Holy Shit Night.
Seriously, I can't think of a song more thoroughly suited for Carrie's voice--or, maybe, anyone's voice--than "O Holy Night." It hits every sweet spot and strength in her instrument.

Just under a 50k debut for a Christmas album in September, with the absolute bare minimal promo? Absolutely wonderful. And look at those pure sales numbers! Her star power remains top-tier in every sense.
Now if only her team could work on those streaming numbers. Less Pandora, more Spotify and Apple Music.

I wonder how many of those were released in September though. Kelly’s WIR debuted at #3 I think, but was released late October.

In fact, Pentatonix and Garth/Trisha were the only acts to send a new album release to the top ten in those years. Buble’s album came out in 2011. Pentatonix: PTXMas: November 13, 2012 That’s Christmas to Me: October 21, 2014 A Pentatonix Christmas: October 21, 2016 Christmas is Here!: October 26, 2018 The Best of Pentatonix Christmas: October 25, 2019 Michael Buble: October 25, 2011 Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood: November 11, 2016 A Charlie Brown Christmas: December 1965 Trans-Siberian Orchestra: October 21, 2016 Mariah Carey: October 28, 1994 (Deluxe Version November 1, 2019)

Finally got this at Target yesterday, with BLACKPINK and Mariah's Rarities. The Christmas card they included was a nice touch. Also, there is apparently some "gift" you can get for free from her online as well.
I'm hearing praise for O Holy Night. As a stan of the certified Queen of Christmas, I will withhold judgment until I hear Carrie's version, but I love her voice, so I expect good things.

Officially Debuted at #8 on BB200. For a Christmas album released in the tail end of September, that's phenomenal. Go Queen!

I'm so glad this debuted top 10. I'm very curious to see how it performs through the end of October.

#1 on Country, Holiday, and Christian Albums charts, as well as #1 in Canada and the UK. 8th consecutive album to debut atop the Country Albums chart, incl. her GH set. Lemme eat crow after all that worry I expressed about the minimal promo ahead of its debut week; this album is going to do VERY well this winter.
Literally, who else? She’s in such a different league from her contemporaries.

I too will go ahead and eat my words...what an incredible queen. My goodness at that historic debut streak on Top Country Albums. Literally nobody else like her on the planet.

In hindsight it was quite risky but smart to release it on the back of the ACMs. The EOTY win gave her a plenty of press without the need for much promo, and having a very vocal driven album released on the back of such an iconic performance has probably helped quite a bit as well.

Isaiah deserves thanks - the buzz of LDB alone is what I think increased the final number from the original projection.
I think LDB will end up being the biggest “hit” from this...

I'm not ready to eat my words. I have a few thoughts. I think the album has done really well this week, certainly better than I anticipated, and will do well as we get closer to November/December. I think the album will not do well in October. I realize in the grand scheme of things, that maybe doesn't matter much. But it does to me. I think the album would be doing at least just as well, if not much better, if she had waited another month to release. I think she could've had a Top 5 album, if not a BB200 No. 1, had she waited another month. Would it have been worth waiting another month to possibly get her a No. 1 on the all genre chart? In my opinion...yes, it would have been. I said I'd be done with this, but wanted to comment now that we know what sales and streams look like after a week. IF it continues to do well and doesn't fall out of the Top 20 in the next few weeks, then I will eat my words.

Isaiah did not come to play, he came to SLAY! I FELT his vocals. s**t almost had me tearing up. I've ALWAYS loved that song though, but damn, that was special.
The album is solid, especially vocally. I LOVED 1-6. I'll give it a B+
1. Let There Be Peace (SLAIN.) 2. Little Drummer Boy 3. Hallelujah 4. O Holy Night 5. Silent Night 6. Mary, Did You Know? (what in the "After Tonight" by Mariah??) 7. Joyful Joyful, We Adore Thee 8. O Come All Ye Faithful 9. Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas 10. Away In A Manger 11. Sweet Baby Jesus

Just bought my CD and red vinyl bundle. Should ship on October 30 when the vinyl is released. Hoping it gets to me safely and quickly because I had it sent to my college and finals aren't long after the ship date.

Kinda random but The Sun (on The Masked Singer) was predicted to be Carrie by Nicole... it’s undoubtedly LeAnn Rimes, but they’re pretty close.
To add, LeAnn is sounding phenomenal... if it’s her, which it is.. 😂

That alone makes it obvious. I happened to hear the Sun sing, and I knew right away it was her. I don't know what Nicole was thinking because *redacted in case I'm in an alternate universe where I'm wrong* and Carrie sound nothing alike.

I’m pretty sure they’re given a handful of possible names and while they sound nothing alike, they’re both big-voiced female country singers and can easily be grouped together... especially in a case like this where they want the judges to help, but obviously not give things away.

Good in Goodbye just came on my Spotify.
I still can't believe it wasn't a single. RELATABLE, memorable, good co-write.
What a big missed opportunity for a hit. :|

Blown Away really could've gone seven deep if you ask me. I'd have done this honestly: 1. Good Girl 2. Blown Away 3. Two Black Cadillacs 4. See You Again 5. Do You Think About Me 6. Wine After Whiskey 7. Good In Goodbye I have no doubt nearly all three of those 5-7 picks could've gone straight to #1.
