Has there been any news on an album yet from Cole? Doesn't seem like it, but a feature is coming.

^ Based on what I've heard from or involving Shy Carter up to this point, that collab will probably be a hard pass for me.

So seriously ticked off at radio for sticking with this snoozer and deciding to shove We Were Rich off to the wasteland. I only mention this song as they were both released to radio around the same time last year and they were both doing around the same chart-wise(you could def argue RJ was doing better for awhile!) until they both got into the mid 30s earlier this year, when radio decided to stick with this over a FAR superior song.
I mean im not surprised by any if this, its par for the course, really. 🤬

I do wish country radio didn't take so damn long to convert this song and either converted this faster or let it die in the 20s and 30s, but I don't think "We Were Rich" is the best example of a song being robbed on the charts (imo it did better than it probably should have)

You even said it yourself when it was released: Second most added song with 33 adds on add week and 34 total stations. Very solid start especially since this is following a huge flop in "Head Over Heels" and I have a good feeling country radio is more excited about this than "Head Over Heels". It ultimately floundered after it initially got off to a hot start and stayed buried in mostly overnight spins at a lot of stations, not allowing it to move up enough, but it was not released with 0 buzz. None of their music has been big on sales or streaming unfortunately, but radio has taken to all their singles pretty quickly, even though they've all had early demises except "Drinks." And "Single Saturday Night" looked like a huge flop for Cole Swindell for 75% of its chart run. It only started to finally take off this spring. There was never any real interest for it until recently once it finally slugged up the charts into the top 30, and there's still not a ton of it considering it took an entire year for it to climb to where it is now, and Cole should've been at a place in his career by now where a new lead single offering should've taken HALF that time to get to the top 5.

When I said "We Were Rich" had no buzz I was speaking specifically from a consumer point of view not radio, radio was invested but the general public never took to "We Were Rich" (or really any of their singles). Sorry that I didn't clarify that.
