Welp, our little Reba streak continues, as she kicks off the top 5 with her iconic duet with Vince Gill. "The Heart Won't Lie" really allows both of their vocals to shine This was actually one of the big #1 contenders, holding onto the top spot for much of the middle of the submissions until the last-minute submitters screwed it almost out of the top 5...

Yes, what a legend! But let's just talk about how Reba won and Dolly was #2 and leave it at that because the list-making was a fun time lol And King George was #3!!! And Martina was almost top 5!!!!! That rankdown was so much fun We may have missed some other icons and put in Sam Hunt (a very easy last place lmao) but we got it right at the end!

Bowing out next at #4, we will say goodbye to our final song with multiple #1 ranks It was also our first major #1 contender, grabbing and hanging onto the top spot almost from the beginning!! It ultimately lost out on the win, but it remained a fierce contender. So fierce that it is the only song in the entire rankdown to be a top 5 contender for the entire submission process

"You Lie" is yet another example of a song snatching defeat from the jaws of victory, lol. This song looked poised to be not only a #1 contender, but a runaway #1! Even when it lost #1, it was always just a handful of points away from snatching it back. Unfortunately the lower ranks piled up at the end, which forced it to finish at the lowest point it had ever occupied throughout the entire submission process: #4.

Well, Sunny looks poised to stand a mighty chance again! "From A Table Away" is definitely a rankdown force to be reckoned with!

Also, with the elimination of "You Lie" and mine and someguy 's #1s, LBTrocks is in fact the ONLY person to have their #1 remaining! Pretty ironic, after he screwed everyone else out of their #1s winning...

The Reba Massacre 😔. I'm really hoping Fancy did her thing in Revenge! 😓
I'm left with my #2 and... two thirty-something ranks. 😬😂

I am NOT happy about "From A Table Away" being in this rankdown. In case y'all have forgotten, "A Little Bit Stronger" would have won the 2011 rankdown by almost 100 points if it hadn't been for raylatch's single, solitary, vendetta-fueled tank job......... I have SO many feelings that do not need to be mentioned about that day.... Needless to say, the wound was ripped open all over again seeing this song, which was never even going to be a top 5 contender, suddenly fly up with the last-minute lists, shoving Reba out of the way and almost winning this whole thing...

I mean, clearly Sunny deserves to be in this rankdown. Based on how well she did, it is plain that this song is quite a Pulse fave. I certainly don't mean to wish ill will on her or this song, which are just living their best life and enjoying the rankdown exposure for the first time. It's just that I cannot STAND when year-end rankdowns finish like that. I think I definitely still have PTSD from when Martina would have won the 1994 year-end rankdown by more than 200 points if it hadn't been for TWO people ranking her like 80 positions lower than the next lowest people.....

Oh that's right. Sara would've won this rankdown... Well, to be fair, "A Little Bit Stronger" has already won like 4 rankdowns, including Best of the Best part 2 She has literally nothing else to prove with that song.......but it still stings that a single person (who has made it VERY clear several times now that he is done with rankdowns, only to inevitably end up submitting just because he sees another opportunity to tank Sara) could disrupt the streak!

Alright, Miranda vs. Trisha! "Kerosene" vs. "Walkaway Joe". Two iconic and deserving songs!!! Which one do you think will take it????

I will be happy with either winning but given Trisha's track record in these things I tend to think Miranda will take this thing!

I love "From A Table Away" but it doesn't compare to half the other songs in this for me so it ended up being a lot lower. Happy it didn't win tbh
I'm good with either "Kerosene" or "Walkaway Joe" winning as they are my #5 and #6 but I'm gonna root for Trisha here

THRILLED that "Kerosene" made the top 2 cuz it is still my favorite Miranda song, and will probably always be! Love "Walkaway Joe" too tho, really great melody and lyrics on that one! And I love Trisha's vocals on it <3 Thanks for hosting bboat11! I was expecting something I hate to win this so I'm glad I actually liked the winner, lol.

Well, color me shocked! "Kerosene" and "Walkaway Joe" are both incredibly iconic songs, and I had expected that given Trisha's usual track record in these full-genre kinds of rankdowns, she'd be the runner-up. But I gasped upon seeing Miranda never even be a #1 contender while Trisha held on to it for like five lists at the end! I said I wouldn't mind either winning, but I'm very pleasantly surprised to see Trisha take the gold here. Thanks for hosting bboat11 and on to the bloodbath for Revenge!
