•Whewww Wiz and Puthy had s**t on fire. •MEGATRON should've been pushed as an actual single. •They really did Bebe dirty at first by not crediting her. •Fat Joe was scoring hits back to back.

08 09 Hey Mama - David Guetta feat. Nicki Minaj & Afrojack Poor Bebe Rexha, always felt bad that she didn't get credited until months later.

Party Girl heading to right direction. That shouldn't had reached even top 40 in the first place.

For everything beside the top 3 in the the top 10, those numbers look really low. That's a big ouch for Trollz. Also, if it weren't for Black Parade, the Digital Songs Sales #1 would have probably tied or set a new record low in sales.

I feel very bad for Maren. Every time she’s close to the Top 10, something happens. They need to discount it and release a remix.

I think the #2, #3, #4 and #5 positions are all at its lowest points of the past three years. On Radio, only one song has more than 60M (for the first time since the 1990s?). On Streaming, only one song has more than 30M. And yeah... if it wasn't for Black Parade's debut, Rockstar probably would've beaten the record low for sales #1 (Savage - 12.4k).

Btw... on Radio Songs, this is the 12th week at #1 for Blinding Lights. It's at 72.6M airplay (according to my prediction) and the biggest song that has yet to peak is Break My Heart at only 40.8M. The all-time record, held by Goo Goo Dolls' Iris since 1998, is 18 weeks at #1.

Random thought: Sunflower had 7.5M ODAS (RS chart), 1.5 Youtube (my bad estimation), 500 sales. I will use 10% free/ 90% paid for the audio streams. That is 6700 points. Around the 60s. Not bad for the 88th week. If the 25/52 rule didn't exist, they could've sent it to radio again , they might have a hit on their hands.

It's beyond embarrassing we are now entering July, and 7 out of the top 10 on radio was released in 2019.
For previous year comparisons,
This week last year only 2 of the top 10 songs on radio were released the prior year (with one being the last week of the year). This week in 2018, only 3 of the top 10 songs on radio were released the prior year. The week in 2010, only 1 of the songs top 10 on radio was released the prior year (during the last two weeks of the year).
Very glad radio audience (and influence) on the Hot 100 was reduced if they are going go down the HAC/AC route of just playing old hits because listeners are familiar with them rather than trying to push new hits. How anyone can still tolerate these playlists at this point is also beyond me.
My city's local pop station has literally put Jonas Brother's "Only Human" back in to top 10 on their chart, and "If I Can't Have You" top 20. These are hits from an entire Summer ago. A few years ago that probably would've easily made a station start to be debated as Hot AC. Now I'm going through other major cities Pop station playlists, and I'm literally seeing Con Calma/Sucker/Beautiful People/Dancing With a Stranger still top 10. Most of these went recurrent last Summer...

I don't understand why radio is so reluctant to play a variety of songs. There are 100's of songs begging for airplay.

I wish “The Bones” would make the top 10. However, I could see a different country woman hitting the top 10 this year, Gabby Barrett with “I Hope”. She seems to be making nice moves on CHR with a lot of room to grow. It has been cool to see each of them having such successes with those songs.

I know (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction was suppost to be a Beatles song but I'm happy it wasn't one(no offense to The Beatles fans in this forum). Umm...no it wasn't. "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" was written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones and had nothing to do with Lennon and McCartney or the Beatles. Perhaps you're getting it mixed up with one of the Rolling Stones' first hits in the U.K., "I Wanna Be Your Man" which was given to them to record by Beatles John Lennon and Paul McCartney after they literally finished writing it right in front of them. The story goes that in 1963, the Beatles and the Rolling Stones were already friends and that John and Paul were at a Rolling Stones' studio session in London when the Stones told the two Beatles that they needed some new material to record. John and Paul said they had an unfinished song that they could give them but they had to finish it first. And then, to the Stones' amazement, the two Beatles went off to a corner alone together and proceeded to finish the song there on the spot right in front of them. They came back with the finished song, "I Wanna Be Your Man" and gave it to the Stones. The Stones accepted it and again, it went on to become one of their very first hits in the UK. The Beatles also recorded a version of it for their second studio album "With The Beatles", but gave it to Ringo to sing. Supposedly, Jagger and Richards were so impressed by Lennon and McCartney's ability to finish the song right there and then, that it influenced them to create their own writing partnership, Jagger/Richards, to write their own songs for their group in the future. In one of his last interviews, John Lennon confirmed the story about how "I Wanna Be Your Man" came to be written, but basically called it a "throwaway" and admitted that they weren't about to give the Stones a really great song, now were they? Anyway, none of this has ANYTHING to do with "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction", so I'll stop now.

I didn't know which song it was but either way (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction is a good song. I'll re-edit it now sorry for the confusion.
