Nice to see this album is still in the top 10 on the country charts since its release. It was #6 this week.

Deluxe Edition is out with 2 new songs ("Pick Me Up" and "Never Get It Back"), plus a cover of Dolly Parton's "I Will Always Love You" and a new Wedding Version of "The Good Ones":

Obviously the metrics are different from 15 years ago, but this has to be the biggest female debut since Carrie, no?
Ballerini and Morris had huge debuts, but Gabby’s debut seems to have legs the others didn’t have.. Love the second push with a deluxe release!

And how exactly does this album have legs aside from SPS from the first two singles? A few songs from original album don't even cross 1 million streams.

Ballerini and Morris had huge debuts, but Gabby’s debut seems to have legs the others didn’t have.. Love the second push with a deluxe release! My impression is the two lead singles were so massive - and would've been more massive with a crossover push for TGO - but beyond that there is not a lot of interest. It feels more comparable to Kelsea's The First Time in that the singles were big but not much else, rather than Maren's HERO where it was more of a full-album effort with high critical acclaim. Something else to note is that I Hope and TGO were huge BEFORE the album dropped. Hell, before she was even signed. For an independent artist, they were streaming and selling very well. I think this mostly demonstrates the quality of those songs...they just sound like hits and the public responded. Certainly Warner has helped develop Gabby's artistry and got her already well-performing songs to hit airwaves and become the monsters they are now, but Gabby's longevity lies in her continuing to write and release hits. The new songs don't do a lot for me, but I Will Always Love You is the first time we've heard her pipes in a while. Both her and Lauren Alaina shy away from writing and releasing power ballads when that could certainly be their niche.

Gabby isn't much of an "album person", so are we surprised at the lack of interest in some of the album tracks?

I forget about Taylor when thinking about country music..

But I also disagree and would say Maren’s Album felt like a superstar who was here to stay with a commanding presence, where I won’t be surprised if Gabby goes the route of Deana Carter or Gretchen Wilson.
