FYI, the adds date isn't on Friday in the US because it's on Tuesday, so that date is referring to the official release date of the song as a single. I can see that there will be a standalone release of "Hallucinate" on streaming and digital platforms (like "New Rules" and "IDGAF", which both of them were released as post-album singles) that day.

Do you see this going the Physical route or the BMH route? "Physical" route of course. As much as I love "Hallucinate" and I prefer this over "Levitating", I think the latter has more chances to do well in the US than the former, so this is the reason why they are going with "Hallucinate" next. Also, "Break My Heart" is still being pushed as a single there and she already needs a new one overseas. The fact that Europe and Oceania are getting her best two songs ("Physical" and "Hallucinate") from Future Nostalgia as singles. The taste. |

As much as I love Levitating.. after thinking about it Levitating shouldn't be pushed as a single yet,but Hallunciate is good single too basically anything but Good In Bed could do something.

I think her team is one of the best in the industry right now. Not when it comes to pushing her singles, they're not. They started off well with Don't Start Now, but they've missed it since then. There's no reason why Levitating shouldn't be the single being pushed right now. It's a perfect summer bop. Physical hit top10 in most markets where it was a single, BMH all things considered is also a solid choice. Not even her team could have predicted Don't Start Now to be spending its 250th day still inside the Worldwide Spotify's top10, right? |
