The Lil Wayne album is a 2015 TIDAL Exclusive that’s now on Spotify/Apple. I don’t expect it to do anything.

Pop Smoke is dominating AM so far, all 19 tracks in the top 50 and 6 tracks in the top 10.

Not when releasing a new track every week and make it a top 40 hit. That what you think makes him the new Drake? Really? How about you just call him a successful rapper. You don't have to compare him to Drake because he hasn't achieved a quarter of what Drake has. Many rappers can debut songs in the top 40 and have a song reach #1 on AM. It's not exactly a big deal.

Lol obviously he's not there yet but it does not necessarily take very long from him to reach 100 top 40 entries on Hot 100. He has 16 now, 3 years after he debuted.

So, by your calculations, if it took him 3 years to rack up 16 top 40 entries, it won't "take very long" for him to reach 100 top 40 entries? Lol, just stop.

Yes Indeed was his first big hit in 2018 so in fact he has got those 16 in 2 years but of course he made music before that too.

My point was you saying it wouldn't take him a while to rack up 100 top 40 hits. Even if he has 20 top 40 hits by the end of this year and scores 20 top 40 every 2 years for the foreseeable future, it'll still take him 8 years to rack up 100 top 40 hits. He doesn't score top 40 hits as quickly as Drake so that gap will always be wide. Lil Baby has scored 15 top 40 hits since 2017. In that time, Drake has scored 55 top 40 hits. Out of the 26 songs on his album, 7 songs peaked in the top 40 and 3 of those were released as singles prior to the album dropping. I can definitely see him becoming a bigger hitmaker in the next few years, though. I think we're seeing that already right now. I just think calling him the new Drake is a bit premature. Roddy Ricch is currently a bigger hitmaker than Lil Baby and I wouldn't even call Roddy Ricch the new Drake.

Baby Y- I saw it ranked in the iTunes top 5, and didn't even notice the date. Odd to see it up that high.

He scores Top 40 hits now based on his name alone, something that Lil Baby obviously can't do.

Also, every artist scores hits based on their name eventually. The same will happen to Lil Baby if his career lasts long enough.

Beginning to think Pop's album can reach 200 million streams this week based on this AM performance, not sure how it'll do on Spotify but I'm expecting a minimum of 10 million plays for its debut there.
