Hello everyone and welcome to my first ever rankdown and first Paula Abdul one!
While we are waiting for her next album era (right?!), I thought that it would be a good idea to rank all of her songs.
BUT!
To make things a bit more interesting, this rankdown will have different stages before we hit the real rankdown with submissions over pm.
Paula Abdul has released 3 studio albums and 1 remix album. Plus several compilations over the years.
All in all, I gathered 50 songs which will be here to rank or tank

Now, let's start with the game. In this first stage we have 50 songs (I wanted to round the number). From these 50 songs we will get to 40 after the 1st round. What is your task? Just cross 2 songs you like the least from albums Forever your girl and Spellbound and 3 songs from other 2 albums. To make things easier, 4 of her non-album songs, I put together with remixes from Shut Up and Dance album.

And good idea to start familiarizing with the album tracks :)
My proposals for deletion are
-FYG: Next to you / One or the other
-Spellbound: Spellbound / To you
-Shut up & dance: One or the other / Knocked out / Didn’t I say I love you
-Head over heels: Highschool crush / I never knew it / Missing you
I do have a comment / suggestion / question: how about separating the remixes completely? Otherwise we could be looking at songs twice and sacrificing one-offs; and we may want to consider a few other remixes that are out there, like the Soulseekerz and the Oakenfold mixes to Dance like there’s no tomorrow, or the R&B Remix to My Love is for Real. Plus, we also have two other popular medleys in her discography in addition to the Shut Up & Dance one: Dream Mix (one-off) and Megamix Medley (from Greatest Hits)
Also, FYI this very cool feature collaboration is missing:
- So Free (Shine 2009 featuring Paula Abdul) (I’ve just recently discovered it!)

Juanca gracias ☺ As for remixes ... I decided to just include those which are on official temix album. She does have many many other remixes for almost all of her singles and they are official too. With these 50 songs her cathalogue is covered like 99.99%. I saw on wiki page she has 2 or 3 minor collabs, but ... wanted to keep all at 50.
