Such a simple yet ethereal and magical video. Love the song, the lyrics are really what make it. The production is so great as well.

I like the lyrics and the video is excellent. The melody doesn't grab me though and the shuffling of the instrumental gets a little tiring.
I'm only on listen three, but we'll see if it grows on me. Maybe in context of the album.

This is a good song but it feels more like a Hot AC or AC hit. Not sure if it will do well on Pop.

I don’t care how this does on the charts, but it truly grabbed me instantly. I love that folksy side of Taylor and it’s the right mood for 2020.
This could also be Taylor shedding pop and realizing that part of her career could be evolving. I don’t want to go that deep officially, because this was a surprise offering and she could easily drop pop bangers again post-covid, but, she’s a smart woman and this feels appropriate.

I'm not sure radio is even a focus for this project. Either way, the video is beautiful. The song is ok, but i definitely like this side of Taylor more vs the Reputation side.

Great song hopefully a top 10 debut for this. If "Memories" by Maroon 5 which is boring can be a hit Give Taylor a chance with this great song.

They sent it because it’s her core format, but I’m sure her expectations are realistic with this entire album. She knows how to do radio-friendly, and her intention was not that. She will get play on CHR because she’s Taylor, and it will further expose the project to a larger audience, but she did this for Taylor and I’m proud of her. |
