it could be either a perfect mix or a disaster so we'll see. if it's the former it will SMASH i hope.
top twenty peak for a post album single would be so good, not everyone has that to their credit. even if it doesn't reach the top twenty, she has already two top twenty hits and two pop number ones from one era.

'cardigan' is still #1 on Spotify, getting almost 150k streams more than yesterday (2.06 million streams now). Taylor occupies the entire top 10 and all of 'folklore' tracks are in the top 20 again.

And yes there was an announcement but 12 hours before it was released so I count it was a surprise. |

folklore seems to be the first big album bomb to experience an uptick in streams on Spotify's Monday update since Eternal Atake's first week. Quarantine really hurt passive streaming on Spotify and bucked precedents with Eternal Atake's deluxe, After Hours, Dark Lane Demo Tapes, Legends Never Die, etc all experiencing a Monday decline.

the 375M you posted is first week streams on Spotify Global.
