If you follow my top ten ratings that I do every week, this is the same thing just throwback style. On my weekly top ten ratings I compare this week to last week, so on these throwbacks I will compare the week I'm covering to the current week.
I rate songs from 0 to 6 based on
0=disgrace
1=bad
2=mediocre
3=decent
4=good
5=great
6=top 100 songs of all time
They are weighted so that number 1 is weighted more than number ten. Etc. That means that each week will be out of 275 points.
Above 70% is a good week.
Below 70% is a bad week.

#10 See You Again - Wiz is one of my favorite rappers, and I love the lyrics here too. 5/5 (5/5) #9 Fourfive Seconds - This never really did anything for me. 4/10 (2/5) #8 GDFR - Flo is another rapper that I love. 12/15 (4/5) #7 Style - I was never crazy for this one, but it’s pretty nice. 12/20 (3/5) #6 Trap Queen - I feel like I should like this more than I do, but it’s only decent to me. “679” is way better imo. 15/25 (3/5) #5 Thinking Out Loud - Chill song that brings back a lot of great memories. 30/30 (5/5) #4 Earned It - Typical Weeknd bop. 35/35 (5/5) #3 Love Me Like You Do - I never liked this tbh, but overplay caused me to grow very annoyed. 8/40 (1/5) #2 Sugar - Sorry M5 , but this is one of Maroon 5’s more annoying songs imo. 9/45 (1/5) #1 Uptown Funk - Hasn’t aged the best, but it’s still a classic. 40/50 (4/5) Total: 170/275 (61.82%) Current week: 182/275 (66.18%) So I guess I like 2020 music better than 2015 music. |

Yeah, I also think that sugar is one of their worst hit songs, but I do have a bone to pick with you. Four five seconds with a 2/5. Um what. Paul McCartney is in it. PAUL MCCARTNEY! THE LEGEND HIMSELF! I do still respect your opinion, but I sure hope you know you're in the minority with that one. I'm a kanye hater and I still love that song.

Style and Uptown Funk are definitely the best tracks here, I would say those two tracks are Top 10 for the entire decade. 6/5 for those songs.
The rest of the Top 10 rides at a 2/5, aside from Trap Queen I guess. We'll throw a 4/5 for that song because it's a 2010's classic at this point.
