Using deppresion in such an empty message to have hits is not a good look in my book. If you are going to talk about it, be more real, this sounds like a McDonald's advertising of deppresion.
The song is catchy.

The song is catchy. I'm gonna have to agree with this. Not saying that the motive behind this song is negative (just a desperate attempt to get a hit), but I've always felt that lyrics similar to these "address" very deep issues in an extremely overly simplistic way. I understand the message the track is trying to go for, and I have no doubt that the lyrics were written in good faith, but I just hate this approach to songwriting.

^ Not to mention everything that Demi has released in 2020 aside from her duet with Sam Smith has been written just like this as well.

Every time this comes on I keep thinking it’s "Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince" lmao. Very similar openings.

I love Demi but this song is boring. I heard it once and I have no desire to hear it again.

It truly boggles my mind how many talented artists with great material get passed over by pop radio these days... but somehow they always make room for Demi Lovato and her consistently below average material. I really don't get it. These spins should be going to Miley's new song.

To be fair I wouldn't read too much into early spins. Scooter Braun has proven those are meaningless.
I understand why radio wants Demi (she had a really strong album with a big #1 hit, then she overdosed and there was a lot of support and love for her coming out of that dark place), but the middling peaks she has reached since her comeback only prove how mediocre the material has been. I still haven't heard any song from her since "Sober" that matches up to the high points on Tell Me You Love Me, and I can't help but be dissappointed, especially when we're now on, like, release #5? Even the Sam Smith track was boring.

I really don't get it. These spins should be going to Miley's new song. When exactly did they make room for Demi? She hasn’t had a top 10 hit on pop radio since “Sorry, Not Sorry.” This doing well isn’t shocking. Marshmello is on a hot streak right now, Demi is a big celebrity and the song is pretty inoffensive and radio friendly, it makes sense that it started off so well. So I’m not sure what the complaints are about.

OK being in the title twice is very appropriate for this lol. On par with "I Love Me." Another bit of a disappointment from Demi for me. It's cute, but nothing special. I was really hoping for something similar to Marshmello's A Day to Remember and Juice WRLD tracks.

This is, appropriately enough, OK. The production is decent, the lyrics are passable but the whole thing just feels shallow.
For Demi's sake, I hope this does well. Otherwise, I'm not sure what she can do to save her career, considering she hasn't really done well with any of her releases this year.

I think this was released 2-3 years too late. It honestly sounds like something that could have smashed in the post-Chainsmokers era (2017-18), but doesn’t really stand out at all today.

I'd rather just play "Tell Me You Love Me" tbh. I want more of that.
