I guess it's true, none of those positions can switch at this point. Although Alicia is REALLY close to overtaking Usher at Urban, it looks like she's going to be only a few hundred spins shy... that REALLY sucks.

"Goodies" was so freakin' huge at Urban and Rhythmic! At it's peak it DESTROYED the amount of spins Usher was getting at his peak. Too bad it was released a month or two earlier.

Drop It Like Its Hot also got way more spins at its peak at Urban than any Usher song. Just last month in Chr Rhythmic Snoop got 31 117 spins while Ushers "yeah" got 29 301 spins in the month that it peaked.

Are you sure Crossfade's "Cold" didn't own AR?

Alternative: INCUBUS- "Megalomaniac" This is kind of surprising actually, since it went recurrent after only 20 weeks on the chart. It must have had great recurrent airplay.

I missed this topic.
Did the year-end R&R issue already come out?

Nice list Gordon! Just one comment:
I could have sworn that "Drift Away" spent a lot more than 9 weeks at #1 on the AC chart in 2003.
Question for all:
Does anyone have a list for the Country chart by chance?

Maroon 5 has spent a total of 25 weeks at #1 this year on Hot AC.

I'm surprised that Figured You Out was #1 for Active Rock.

If you go over to page two of the Country board, I posted the top 50 country singles of 2004 last Thursday morning; the thread is titled ' 2004 R&R Year-Issue Results'.

But will it have near the longevity that Yeah! has? Yeah! had amazing staying power throughout most of the year. Really sad, but true. The song spent about 50 weeks on the Hot 100 and has been a massive recurring radio track for most of the year. I don't think Snoop Dogg's single's anywhere near as big as Usher's.
