“Who Says You Can’t Home” is great so I’m looking forward to hearing the country mix of this. My only qualm so far is that Jon’s voice sounds a bit strange here.

Suddenly I became hit with a bunch of nostalgia. I LOVE their first collaboration so much, it’s one of my all time favorites. Have not heard the original version of this song yet, but I’m just going to wait until the Jennifer Nettles version is released to hear both.

Single artwork from Jennifer's Twitter post. There is also a new music video out on Friday with Jennifer included:

Is it just me or does Bon Jovi’s voice sound kinda weird in this song?

This is great! I like it better than their first duet! This song hopefully will be a hit on the country charts. As a lifelong Bon Jovi fan I am in high anticipation for their 2020 album.

I love this so much. My only complaint is that the production is too loud in most parts of the song and it’s kind of hard to understand the words.
My local iHeart station is playing this on the hour every hour today!

My local iHeart station is playing this on the hour every hour today! This is getting an iHeartMedia debut, which is usually the case for a Friday release to country radio that impacts the following Monday. I really enjoy this one as well. It's certainly a timely song and the melody is super strong, and the music is great too. Not a huge fan of Jon Bon Jovi's vocals but the song here makes up for it, and having Jennifer as part of it helps too. Their voices are so different from one another, but I think that's why it works so well in a duet.

I've been a fan of the original for the last few weeks, and I like this duet version as well. Jen and Jon sound great together as usual. I'm glad it looks like it will be getting a proper push at radio.
The song is timely, well-written, and works well as both a country tinged solo rock song, and a rock tinged country duet.

I just noticed that on Mediabase Jennifer has now been credited on the song on the AC charts. Since it's at #10 there, this now gives her a top 10 hit on the format :)

This is absolutely fantastic and right up there in quality with their first duet from forever ago. I'm really impressed! Vocally they really are a great pairing and Jennifer Nettles in particular really shines here, as expected. Would love to see this turn into a nice sized hit to have her voice back on the radio again. Loving it.

I read on her wikipedia page that Jennifer Nettles has ended her solo career in Dec. 2019, to focus on making music with Kristian Bush in Sugarland. Does anyone know if this accurate? If not, will she continue to make music as a solo artist?

If not, will she continue to make music as a solo artist? Jennifer is still with Big Machine as a solo artist. The information on Wikipedia is not correct. Both Jennifer (solo) and Sugarland are signed with BMLG and are listed on their Artists page on their website. They are also promoting the new duet with Bon Jovi and have been posting about it on their socials. www.bigmachinelabelgroup.com/artists

Debut live performance at the iHeart Music Festival (9/19): youtu.be/kDU61mjzLRwThis collaboration was not something that I expected to happen, but I'm super happy that it did. The nostalgia of these two working together again...

Not feeling this at all, but then again I hated "Who Says You Can't Go Home" too and I've never been a fan of Bon Jovi.

Is it just me or does Bon Jovi’s voice sound kinda weird in this song? Jon's voice sounds quite rough on this song. It makes sense considering all the years of touring with Bon Jovi. Jennifer surely infuses energy to the record with her voice and attitude. It's a good song but "Who Says You Can't Go Home" was a much better record overall.

I agree that Jon's voice sounds a little rough, but he is in his 60s now. Jen more than makes up for it, haha.

So is this one already done? Kinda figured the debut would wind up being its peak, but can't say I expected it to plummet off the chart completely almost immediately after its release.

Bon Jovi's voice sounds off on this, but Jennifer more than makes up for it. I LOVE this version of the song, although it does feel like it drags on a bit. I would've loved to see this do much better on the charts than debuting and peaking at #28 considering how well the last duet did, if only so I could hear Jennifer on the radio again. She's got to be one of the most criminally underrated female voices in the genre and that's a shame, because she's got one of the best in the genre.
I felt a huge wave of childhood nostalgia when this song played. I was reminded of the 2006 duet and I had to go back and listen again. I remember how inescapable that one was, and I'd say I prefer that one over this, although I love them both.

I liked the song more because of Jennifer she really stood up the level on it.
