Ashanti's fourth studio album that was released on June 3, 2008. The album debuted at #6 on the Billboard 200, selling 86,000 copies its first week. Peaked at #2 on the R&B/Hip Hop Album chart. As of February 2014, the album had sold 297,000 copies in United States.
Hugely underrated album from a hugely underrated artist, if you ask me. I have to admit that it was refreshing to listen to her album without any of those crazy skits. lol. The production on here was so consistent and smooth like fine wine. Some tracks remind me of Janet, Aaliyah, Christina Milian, and Usher all rolled into one.
It's definitely one of her best, if not, her best album, period. It's definitely in my top three along with her debut and "Concrete Rose".
What are your fave songs from the album? I love them all, tbh, especially "Girlfriend" and "Good Good". I kinda feel nostalgic about the music released from that year.
