In 2013, Ellie Goulding released a remake of the Waterboys' "How Long Will I Love You." It was recorded for the reissue of her second album, "Halcyon" and served as the official song for the BBC's 2013 Children in Need. The song was also included on the soundtrack to the Rachel McAdams/Domhnall Gleeson film, "About Time." The song proved to be a bigger hit for Ellie and it peaked at No. 3 on the Official U.K. chart in November 2013.
I reckon this record is pure sweetness and I love it. It's sentimental and heartfelt and Ellie's distinctive voice is well-suited for this kind of tender, harmless love song.

This was always a very pretty elegant track, I love it when Ellie do these songs cause her sweet soft voice just sells them so well This and her cover of Your Song are both really well done covers in that regard
