BMS used to be top 3 but the cringe in the lyrics became unbearable as I got older. Someday remains her best mommy song. Tik Tik Boom is a classic Britney demo so I've always loved it. Now That I Found You.. I never understood the love for it. In an album full of songs that lack personality this one takes the cake. It's as generic as it gets. Zero redeeming qualities.

This ranking has me shook! Honestly shocked with how much peeps whine about this album that Hold On Tight is so low as well as Don't Cry!
It Should Be Easy - I love the concept of the song, I am a fan of Will.I.Am (his interviews about music/life are very thought provoking) I like how the song is simple really, as in love SHOULD be easy...
Don't Cry - This feels like it could be on the Britney album as well, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Hide my tears and dry my eyes, you don't need to see me cry Pack my bags can't take no more, adios! I'm out the door #Wig Love the story about the whistle and how, yes it does elevate the song...
Brightest Morning Star - I'll never forget how Sia talked about this song, it was just so VERY Britney... Honestly one of my fave songs of hers, while it is the story of jesus, like any song, I don't interpret it that way for me... but I am a fan of speartual leaning lyrics... The production on the chorus, the choir, talk about euphoric... Again, the lyrics here are lovely!
Tik Tik Boom - This is insanely catchy, the melody is is insane and the L-Let me get up on it stutter-esque is infectious... This song sounds SO good LOUD AF... I will admit I took out TI and put in a mix of Britney/Luda from Yeah! Take that, rewind it back Ludacris: Ludacris got the flow to make your booty go Britney:(Boom, boom!) Also, with that mashed in, her "Yeahs!" and the "Yeahs!" From Yeah! sounds seamless...
Now That I Found You - Here we are, my fave song of ALL. TIME! This song came at a time when I legit was going to take my life and then the album dropped and I heard the opening line and legit got shivers... and then when she sang Lived a wasteful life in a hateful city There was no love, just pain and pity That hit my soul :( that song gave me hope... Is my life perfect, hell no, I have battled and will always battle the deadliest mental illness but damn that song has pulled me out of some suicidal moments and I got the lyrics: And you don't know how you saved my life
tattooed on my arm as a reminder... I could go on and on but I know no one really cares and hate this album...

what a mess
I do like Alien but I thought my top 4 were way better than the rest of the album so seeing it in the top 2 is...confusing

Something needs to be done about the bottom rankings for "Perfume". "Alien" is cute but top 2?

I love "Passenger" and I can only imagine how good it would've turned out had the production actually been polished and not so demo-ish.
I used to want "Til It's Gone" to be a single, but given the Myah controversy, I'm glad the era didn't last any longer than it did. It just would've brought more attention to the situation.

OUR WINNER IS....
#1Work BitchPoints: 29 Average: 2 SD: 1.3278 (#1 Lowest SD)
Ranks: schnetzka 1 Ginger Spice 1 Juan Carlos 1 SHOOTER 1 Az Paynter 1 .indulgecountry 1 Marooned@Midnight 1 samo🦕 1 @mirza 2 mc54 2 Keelzit 2 Kanenrá:ke 2 George 4 ClevelandRox 4 Anticonformity 5
My Opinion: If this isn't the biggest runaway winners in rankdown history then idk what is lol. Work Bitch was a fantastic lead single filled with a lot of energy, attitude, and life over a banging production, which is no surprise given that Sebastian Ingrosso is one of the names involved with this song in particular. Now if only the rest of the album's dance tracks were this good, but this was just the huge outlier in the album. A deserving albeit predictable winner but lets be real there wasn't many other songs worth rooting for on this album lol.
Which means our runner-up is

I'm excited to rank her much better self-titled album.

It's not the best album in the world, but Britney Jean has a special place in my heart. Just wish it didn't take her three years to follow it up.

Even though I had Perfume at 1, I'm even happier to see Alien make the top 2. To let her know she's not alone, not alone, not alone in a way. Let's be real, #2 is the real #1 here because we all knew Work Bitch was running with this without even having to work for it.

Til It's Gone - Top 5 fave Britney song ever... Honestly these lyrics are a just like DAMN: I try every night to turn the page But daylight can confine me to a cage (would love a tattoo with those lyrics) I mean, story of my life... I LOVE the production, the "sad" sound of the song and then a club banger? Also, love the vocals (and the BACKUP vocals) and how it's got a sadness but also like a 'tude... I honestly am a sucker for songs with dark, sad lyrics but "happy"/upbeat production... Shocked and happily surprised this made top 5! This song also helped me so many times...
Passenger - SHOCKED this made it to #4! SO deserved... LOVE the lyrics and the different sound for her... It does sound kinda demo-ish but honestly it reminds me of christian music production which I grew up on (scream) ANOTHER, relatable song for me...
Perfume - I don't hate this but compared to the rest of the album it's not in the top... still love it, wish there was a proper bridge... Also, Prerogative is the best perfume/scent EVER!
Alien - Love the lyrics, love the theme, love how it's another different song for her to add to her discography (which is why I love this album, adds something new) This song can be intreprtued as very dark imo which is sometimes why I relate so much to it (suicide/wanting to die : But the stars in the sky, look like home TAKE ME HOME :( ) "Song deals with loneliness and how you can be surrounded at all times by friends, family and adoring fans who you love and still feel alone. " - Britney
Work Bitch - Not one bit surprised at this being number one... even haters of this album LOVE this song hahaha which is ironic... At first I was like :O when this came out cause it was different yet felt like Scream & Shout in a way, but then I was shook by the lyrics cause not only do I love saying BITCH all the time, but it's actually extremely positive and realistic, like you have to work for things whether it's your mental health, your lifestyle, etc... it takes work to get the results you want... I love how this song has become her signature song (among her MANY others ;) ) like even Carrie Underwood loves it lol
So happy to have done this among the dislike/hatred that I have seen for my fave album!
Cannot wait to do my second fave album: Britney!
