Favorite Madonna's hits after hits run? (4 / more hits in a row)
Like a Virgin era: Like a Virgin, Material Girl, Crazy For You, Angel, Dress You Up 1984-1985
True Blue era: Live To Tell, Papa Dont Preach, True Blue, Open Your Heart, La Isla Bonita 1986-1987. Didnt include Who's That Girl and Causing a Commotion which were also hits just after True Blue era ended. Imo, True Blue era's 5 hits in a row were too perfect, if combined with those 2 forgettable hits.
Like a Prayer era: Like a Prayer, Express Yourself, Cherish, Oh Father, Keep It Together.1989-1990 Oh Father was barely top 20 Hot 100, but still a moderate hit, and the follower, Keep It Together made top 10 though.
Im Breathless + The Immaculate Collection era: Vogue, Hanky Panky, Justify My Love, Rescue Me. 1990-1991. Okay, not sure where to include these 4 hits in a row? Released shortly just after Like a Prayer era ended. 2 from a soundtrack, 2 from a Greatest Hits. I decided to include these, combined 2 eras together.
This Used To Be My Playground + Erotica era: Erotica, Deeper and Deeper, Bad Girl, Rain. 1992-1993 Sorry, maybe a bunch of hits which were the weakest (in term of Hot 100 peaks, because of only a no. 1, 2 top 10s, 1 top 40 and 1 top 20), compared to the other 4 eras. But i had to include this. 1992 - 1993 were the last years, she could score 4 or more consecutive top 40 hits in a row. After these years, she usually missed top 40 in between hits. For examples, after 2 hits of Bedtime Story, she missed top 40 with the 2 following hits. Or after 3 hits of Ray Of Light, she missed the top 40 with the final single.

True Blue era is the best. Although the album title song is imo one of her average hits. But Live To Tell and Open Your Heart are among her best singles.
My 2nd favorite is surprisingly around Erotica era. Bad Girl and Rain are so underrated. Among 2 of her best videos. TUTBMPG is also one of her best ballads, sadly forgotten. Deeper and Deeper ia the weakest one.
