I’m curious to see if Rihanna or Adele will surpass the opening week of “Thank U, Next” and take the Female record given they haven’t released since 2015/2016.

Drake, thus far, is the only artist to break 100M+ in a day only three artists have moved over 400M+ streams in the first week (U.S.A). Given the massive hype, both acts can accomplish this although I think Adele’s units will be far more pure sales based with Rihanna taking more streams.

Kendrick Lamar is most definitely breaking 400M+ first week unless the earth stops spinning.

I can’t wait.

😭 The pain of people mentioning K-Dot's name making me think there was some announcement for his album. I think there would need to be a perfect storm for him to even come close to break the record which involves the hype, the reception to his singles, the length of his album, and the strength of the streaming environment. He will have the hype but I'm not so sure on the other factors just yet.
