We had to look up the songs manually pretty much. There was a database that listed the most streamed songs of each decade, but I doubt any country artists made it.

A lot of it will depend on what you consider country too, since the most streamed pre-2010 country songs are mostly the pop cross over hits, and ones by artists that managed to gain international followings.

Generally speaking, old country songs don't have very good streams, and blue-rock, southern-rock and country-rock bands that are somewhat related to country but not really country tend to do better (Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Animals, The Eagles, Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top, etc).

No problem! I actually track a Top 250 (which extends down to songs with ~355m streams) and may share that full list every few months if I ever find time to manually check all 250 on the same day!

In the past two days, LS has leapfrogged classics by Brenda Lee, Toploader, and Disturbed (in all three cases, it's definitely the song you're thinking of) to reach #180.

God Save Queen. Two big milestones for Queen today: their biggest hit, "Bohemian Rhapsody" (#1 on our list) is now #28 on the overall list after surpassing Justin Bieber's "Sorry." It trails its next competitor, "XO Tour Llif3," by 3.1m. Meanwhile, "Don't Stop Me Now" (#7 on our list) passes one billion streams, making Queen the first act to do so with two pre-2010 hits. Can anyone explain the massive Spotify success of ‘Till I Collapse? I do think it’s a very good song, and Eminem is a household name, so it’s far from obscure. I see it’s been used in many ads, shows, and sports stuff, but nothing it’s been in stands out to me as a viral or pop culture phenomenon. (The Scientist feels similarly surprising). If this were Family Feud or whatever I would be shocked if TIC was the 2nd or 3rd or 4th most named Em song by random people on the street, ya know?

Things are heating up in the overall top 100!

"Lose Yourself" (#4 on our list) is now #100 overall, becoming just the fourth song from before 2010 to achieve this, and the second from the 2000s decade.

Hot in its tail, though, is "Mr. Brightside," (#5 on our list, #103 overall) which will soon surpass more recent hits like "IDGAF" and "Wow.," as well as "Lose Yourself," to claim its spot in the top 100.

Meanwhile, "I'm Yours" (#2 on our list) is treading water at #93, passing forgotten Song of the Summer "Cheerleader" by OMI while being surpassed by 2020 breakout "Rockstar" by DaBaby and Roddy Ricch. It only needs a bit more juice to push past "When The Party's Over," with which it's been rising in near-parallel for several weeks.
