Out now!![]() It's the Vince Vance & The Valiants song, not a Mariah cover. I'm digging this much more than "Under the Mistletoe."

The original remains underrated, and this is such a perfect fit for Kelly. She sounds great on this. I can't stop staring at that cover though, something is not right.

I was ECSTATIC that she was going to cover the Mariah track and maybe get some extra exposure for "Underneath the Tree" that way, but alas... still a great cover, though! I can't stop staring at that cover though, something is not right. Did they purposefully photoshop her nose bigger/mouth further up or something?

It's like the upper arms are shortened but the forearms are normal length. What in the world did they do to this photo?!

It’s funny you mention Kelly’s arm because I’ve always noticed that since her Idol days (that and how much junk in the trunk she has). I don’t think her arms are photoshopped. Anyhow, I like her rendition of this song. She sounds great, as per usual.

This is great! Another gem to add to her already impressive Christmas cannon.

I have such fond memories of hearing this song on the radio in the late 90s, and I love that she’s covered it! (For a long while, I had never heard the Mariah Carey song and assumed it was a cover of this one!) She sounds fantastic; this song really is a perfect fit for her.
This prompted me to look into who the hell “Vince Vance and the Valiants” actually are, and that ended up raising more questions than answers.

This is nice but that cover art isn't a good shot lol Wasn't a Mariah cover like I thought it would be but I still enjoy it since well when does Kelly disappoint with Christmas music

I can’t stop listening to this! This is probably my favorite Christmas cover she’s done since “please come home for Christmas.”

It's a faithful cover of a nice track (LeAnn Rimes had previously done a cover). The song was initially released in 1989, and then made its first appearance on Billboard's country chart in 1993, making multiple appearances in years thereafter. In 2002, it cracked Billboard's recurrent airplay chart (No. 23). Lisa Burgess Stewart (who records as Lisa Layne) sang it, with the melody based off of Bobby Vinton's "y Heart belongs Only to You." The single art reminds me of that King of Queens episode where Deacon and Kelly gave Doug and Carrie that hideous portrait of the latter.

Her best Christmas cover tbh. Her voice is built for this song, and she chews it up. Instrumentation and production is perfect, too.
