The top 30 looks good for the most part with âEasy Come, Easy Goâ being the outlier of course. I canât imagine for the life of me that âDown To The Honkytonkâ is a better song than that. It is.

Just like tonight's Revenge set kicked off with a #1 loss, we'll also be beginning tonight's BotB set with a #1 loss

austin now joins kamala 2024 truther, someguy, and đșCountryLineDancer in the unfortunate pile of people who have lost their #1 before the top half :( "In Terms Of Love" ended up being on the more polarizing side of things in this rankdown. I do like this one quite a bit, but it was definitely not my favorite to win its album rankdown. "I'm Taking The Wheel" would have been my pick, although it would have been nice to see "23 Days" get some love too! Oh well, "Wheel" made the top half in the Revenge rankdown, so we can look forward to seeing how much longer that one will last there!! :)

"Next Girl" was the runaway winner of its monthly rankdown, with pretty much no competition whatsoever....except for her own ex-husband Michael Ray whose "Whiskey And Rain" has also been a huge Pulse Favorite! Interestingly, his has survived into the top half of the Revenge rankdown, while hers falls short here I do feel like his has been growing on people steadily over time, while hers has been wearing on people a bit. However, Carly's new EP is getting a LOT of love! She's already won a future new releases rankdown with "Show Me Around", and I'd say she stands a good chance of winning next month with "29" as well! It'll be interesting to see how she does in BotB 6!

"Safe & Sound" bows out at #28 in this rankdown right after "Babe" bowed out at #29 in RotB. Interestingly, both songs proved to be the most polarizing song of their rankdown!
S&S won Taylor Swift's Extras rankdown. Back when we thought we had completed her entire album series đ Oh boy were we naive!!!!
I'm pretty sure this is now her best performance in one of these BotB rankdowns! Although "Highway Don't Care" still remains in this one, so this record won't last for long.

After the night Reba had in RotB, why would she be expected to have a good night in this one! "What Do You Say" bows out next, just barely missing the top half. This song is pretty average as far as her big hits go, imo, so I didn't suffer a huge loss here like I did with all of her songs in RotB tonight It still slays though, especially if you watch the music video :'(

Trisha's final song is now "Believe Me Baby (I Lied)". Will it be able to make the top half??!?!! Lol It has been a rough stretch for her, but yea I think that song is safe for a good while at least.

I definitely underranked "In Terms of Love", I was listening to it the other day and was reminded of how nice it was!
Ooh I will definitely echo that Carly Pearce's new EP is awesome. "29" hits deep but the other songs are pretty solid too.
I want to say "Safe & Sound" is one of Taylor's best but I love Taylor too much and she has so many great songs that I don't think I can say that but what I will say is "Safe & Sound" was probably the closest she came to the folklore/evermore sound aesthetic before those two albums (probably more the former than the latter though!).

Chronologically Speak Now might make more sense than Red as the songs for the Hunger Games soundtrack preceded anything from Red in terms of release. Now with The Civil Wars having parted ways this might be a bit tougher but who knows she might just do it solo... I checked what label the soundtrack was under and Spotify told me it was under Universal so that shouldn't be a problem now that Taylor is under Universal too.

I obviously think ITOL is too low here but SHeDAISY was always a pretty polarizing group and never quite reached the popularity of some of the other legends on this list so I get it.
My feelings on Carly aside, âNext Girlâ going here makes sense, as while a fun country ditty, it doesnât stack up as the Best of the Best.
Taylor was way too low though. Beautiful song.

"Safe & Sound" should be a LOT higher, same with "In Terms Of Love" super disappointed to see those two out already.
Some of you really should double check your trash taste because it is having devastating consequences lol

Bonus: "Fancy" - Reba McEntire Finished at #1 in the: Revenge of the Best - Part IV rankdown (Host: bboat11)
Fan favorite and career-smash hit "Fancy" has always proven to be a liiiiiittle bit too polarizing on Pulse to win rankdowns... It was #7 in Reba's artist rankdown, got choked out at #3 in tim's '90s Women of Country rankdown, and then ended up being shanked by the less polarizing "You Lie" in the Rumor Has It album rankdown. However, that #2 finish earned it a spot in our last Revenge of the Best rankdown.... Which allowed this song to finally get its revenge and become a rankdown winner!!!!! Which I am quite happy with, because winning a BotB/RotB rankdown is what I consider to be one of the coolest and loftiest accomplishments any song could add to its resume These rankdowns are always SO competitive, to win one is the ultimate compliment!!!

"Redhead" is great, but is another one that suffers a little bit for me in the context of a rankdown like this. These rankdowns are always so strong, some things have to go lower than they deserve, and the loud modern arrangement of this one definitely put a target on its back. Would easily be my top 10 in a year-end rankdown though if she ever releases it as a single, hint hint.....
"Not A Moment Too Soon" is classic Tim McGraw, but I feel like it's leaving in a good place. It's a little too dated to hold up super well in a list like this.

There is no question that "If You See Him/If You See Her" is one of the most iconic country duets of all time. Reba and Ronnie really bring out the strengths in each other as vocalists, the music video is amazing (they actually found something for Kix to do!!!! đ), and it has one of the best-sounding electric guitar solos in country music.

Don't let my low rank fool you, I love this song quite a bit! One of the most delightful country jams Jake Owen has ever released. I especially love the "I go down to the honkytonk" breakdown section where he goes super low Glad to see this be the highest Jake Owen song in this!

The final song to miss out on the top 20 here is another jam from George Strait. "The Big One" is like one of the catchiest country songs of all time, period. I literally cannot fathom ranking it in the bottom 10. And yet that is exactly where our George Strait hater someguy , our man-hater .indulgecountry , and our '90s Country-hater kamala 2024 truther put it......none of whom were nearly as egregious though as randomly-floppy-for-no-reason austin !!! Aside from them, literally everybody else put it (nearly) in their top half
