MULTIPLE #1 ranks for Sword in the Stone?!?!!! Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy this movie! But it is very much the most forgotten/least iconic film from this entire time period. Again, that's not a bad thing, it just makes me extra surprised that people would put it at #1. Putting this at #1 over Jungle Book, 101 Dalmations, etc. is like putting Brave at #1 in the Pixar rankdown while classics like Finding Nemo and Toy Story exist Hopefully y'all bring this love of forgotten flops to Dinosaur when we get to the modern movies!!!

TSITS carries a huge nostalgia factor for me; I was always interested in Arthur and so forth, and it started with this movie. I might have over ranked it slightly, but I also find a few of the others in this poll a bit overrated so it sort of evens out.

Glad to see TSitS made it this high! It didn't have much longer, but I was hoping it would manage to beat out Robin Hood, too.

I am going to echo most of what I said about Alice In Wonderland for Peter Pan... It's obviously been a super iconic classic for my entire life, but we didn't own it so I probably only saw it like once at someone else's house as a little kid and promptly forgot everything. Let's just say I was not at all impressed when I watched it for this series!!! I don't care about the racist undertones or anything. It's a product of its time period, and obviously can be used as a learning opportunity. But what this movie suffers from is a major lack of characters to root for. Except for the crocodile. Peter Pan and Tinker Bell are like the two most iconic characters from this movie, and I was left wondering why. Tinker Bell is literally a raging bitch for this entire movie!! Like, why is she so popular?!?! She literally spends the entire movie trying to get Wendy KILLED out of jealousy, and then she nearly gets Peter and all the Lost Boys killed in her desire to sell out Wendy. Her only redemption is that she freaks out when she realizes that Peter is going to be killed instead of just Wendy Oh boy, what a hero she is! Literally every bad thing in this movie could have been avoided if she wasn't such a one-dimensional hag! And then there's Peter. It's not that he does anything wrong, it's more like his character is very cocky and egotistical and arrogant and immature. I know that he is supposed to be a child, so the immaturity makes sense, but he honestly left me feeling like I had no reason at all to root for him. I agree with all of this. The Crocodile is definitely the best character lol. I do enjoy Mr Smee and Captain Hook well enough. Peter Pan is obnoxious and not rootable at all. I've always liked Tinker Bell but she really is not a good character at all. That doesn't even touch on the racism in this movie, which is terrible and really takes away from any enjoyment this movie could have. So many other movies I'd rather watch instead of this one

I feel like Winnie The Pooh has a stigma of being more of a children's movie, even by Disney's standards, so it's unfortunately not a surprise to see it leaving now. But man does this one have a lot of nostalgia for me! This is one of those movies where every character is super likable and you want them to be your best friend (except for Rabbit, who is low-key one of the biggest dicks in the entire non-villainous Disney universe. Although he is relatable, lmao).

Oh hell no! Merlin packing his whole house alone deserved #1! An iconic scene.

I've lost count of how many times I watched it as a kid along with The Three Caballeros.

Robin Hood was another one that has been iconic for my entire life, but we never owned it so I'm not sure if I ever even saw it... So it was more or less a discovery for me!
They should have hired the Winnie The Pooh guy to do the voice of the snake, lmao. I mean, they had no problem bringing back Baloo to voice Little John, so there would have been nothing wrong with Kaa voicing Sir Hiss! The voice just felt so wrong the entire time to me 😂 Especially because Sterling Hollaway was in like every movie throughout this time period.
Although Little John was basically Baloo with 10% of the personality, so they probably would have been better off finding a less iconic voice actor for him.
Overall though this was an enjoyable watch! And I agree that Lady Cluck was a highlight!

I'd be surprised if Cinderella doesn't win, tbh. But I'd be here for an upset with Dalmatians taking it.

I'll predict:
1. Cinderella 2. 101 Dalmatians 3. The Jungle Book
I think #'s 1 and 2 will be very close.

I don't like these predictions. Miss Cinderella ain't hold a candle to either The Jungle Book or 101 Dalmations!! #3 is fine, but that's all she deserves!

Arguably the best voice cast in the history of Disney--Phil Harris, Louis Prima, Sterling Holloway, Sebastian Cabot, etc.

Great rankdown! Looking forward to the 90s, seriously for better or worse--my least faves will be the top ones, and my #1 will almost certainly be last.

If we did a full Rankdown of all the Disney titles, Cinderella would be my #2. And the fairy godmother looked and sounded like my grandma. Always held a soft spot with me, glad to see it win!
