Cinderella's just way too beloved, I knew nothing else really stood a chance against it. Dalmatians is fantastic top to bottom though.

If we did a full Rankdown of all the Disney titles, Cinderella would be my #2. Sooooo, I actually would not be opposed to participating in something like this later if we want to try it... I really like that we are breaking things up by era for now because it makes it easier to rewatch everything, but once I've taken the time to rewatch everything in these smaller chunks I would have no problem throwing the full list into a preference revealer and seeing what happens Lmao. I can't wait for the next set!!! I'm having so much fun with this series! I'll try to jump on it much quicker now that I'm done with my Masters :)

A good top 3 although I've never cared for Jungle Book!

Alice in last place?! The f*ck? lol
As for Peter Pan, the racism in there disgusted me it's extremely bothersome on top of having no likable heroes. Honestly Hook and the crocodile are the only two. I root for Hook.
The Aristocats is cute but I really only use it for the excellent "Everybody Wants To Be A Cat" fantastic song.
"Winnie The Pooh" is cute, it's maybe a little too simple however.
"Sleeping Beauty" is gorgeous to look at imo always loved the Character design but it's a fairly boring movie.
"Lady And The Tramp" is also nice, but it lacks excitement for me.
"Cinderella" has some great moments and I love most of the characters including the underrated Grand Duke!
"The Jungle Book" is amazing, my brother and I used to do the dance from "I Wanna Be Like You" all the time when we were kids. My parents they have it on video and we got the moves down pretty good lol
"The Sword In The Stone" is sooo underrated, it's got so many fun characters! Merlin was great!
"101 Dalmatians" is so fun, the twilight bark sequence remains a favorite from any Disney movie!
"Robin Hood" also seems to get underrated by a bit, Prince John is so fun to watch!
And my #1 was "The Rescuers" as a kid I loved the idea of all the mice having a secret society and my grandfather used to indulge me and tell me stories about them so this one really hits the nostalgia. Plus Evinrude is so adorable I love him lol

We've ranked though four Eras now. We got through the five movies of the Golden Era along with the 6 package films of the Wartime Era. You all decided Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs were the best of those 11 movies! Then we ranked the 8 movies of the Silver Era and the 4 of the Bronze Era, where Cinderella came out on top! Will a Princess movie come out on top yet again?
For this set we will be ranking the 4 movies of the Dark Era and the 10 movies of the Renaissance Era.
The Fox and The Hound The Black Cauldron The Great Mouse Detective Oliver and Company The Little Mermaid The Rescuers Down Under Beauty and the Beast Aladdin The Lion King Pocahontas The Hunchback of Notre Dame Hercules Mulan Tarzan I hope to see a lot of you join in to rank these classics. Which one will come out on top? I'm gonna begin with a tentative date of November 12th for the due date.

Totally know one of my favorites is going to get tanked to the bottom.
I guess I'll finally have to re-watch The Black Cauldron for the first time in forever haha

Time for the first reminder! I would like to try and not push this one out further than the current due date so while you have 2 months I'd like everyone to keep that in mind and get watching the movies so you can get your list in on time! For it being an 80's movie and me being an 80's kid, I don't know The Black Cauldron at all (I feel like it ended up "too dark" and Disney just gave it a soft promotion release/kept it in the vault ever since?). Gonna rewatch it this week and will have my list in! I think The Lion King is the frontrunner for this one, but not counting out The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast. Those three and Aladdin will definitely be the top four.

Don't think I'll ever get to The Black Cauldron. I'm rewatching Hercules now.

About half way through my re-watch, I have to say my rankings are going to be very different than how I would've thought if I had just gone on memory!
