Honestly, choosing to push this rather than stay on “Thinking ‘Bout You” with Dustin Lynch was a massive blunder. TBY was one of the biggest hits of 2021, while GOH barely cracked the top 25. Lauren needs a label that knows what they’re doing as far as promotion goes. Maybe like Sony? Or RCA? Or maybe even a smaller label like Warner.

I’m also hopeful that she can benefit from changing labels. It’s worth the shot at this point. I don’t think we can blame everything on them, but they did make a lot of poor decisions and missed some clear opportunities. On another note, is anyone watching her on Beyond The Edge?? I’m so surprised, she’s killing it. She’s leading the competition, so far undefeated on every challenge. Also she’s handling the ‘survivor the jungle’ aspect very well. I’m impressed! Edit: Had to edit this a couple of days later because well... she was medically evacuated from the show on the new episode

Lauren made some comments at a concert about Scotty & singing together & new opportunities soon. It's been announced that American Idol for it's 20th anniversary will have a reunion special where alums will be performing duets together. Scotty & Lauren will be performing together. Some here were speculating that her comments could be a sign that she could be signing with Triple Tigers. I think she would receive a few interested labels trying to sign her. While TT is a good label, if a label such as Big Loud or BBR is interested I would think she would sign with them. tasteofcountry.com/scotty-mccreery-lauren-alaina-american-idol-reunion/
